This is true, cultures and society's are different and the views and treatment of alcohol is one of those things that is treated much differently depending on your location.
Personal responsibility is lacking unfortunately in many of our US citizens, whether they be young or old.
I just would hate for someone's mom to throw away a clickclack because they found out it represented beer and yet they were underage 'legally'.
See I understand that the drinking age should be when people can act their age and not act stupid but let's be honest in USA everyone drinks when they're 16. I know myself and all my friends drank the most 16-21 lol so it is odd that they wouldn't want to make profit on everyone that's drinking illegally. Oh also in Wi you can drink at any age with your parents consent.

I doubt that. The design isn't as clean or has nearly as much mass appeal as the skull does, people will want it for the novelty and I don't see them going for $100+ at all. Probably more in line with the Oktoberfest cap, so say $60-90.
Drunken Skull and the translucent green one will be the big turnarounds here.

I would imagine small quantities would be sold in a 4Grabs, where as larger quantities would be sold in EK drawings.

I'll be a deputy public administrator/public guardian. Basically, I'll be testing competency of some people to see if they can continue to live alone or if they need to be placed in a conservatorship, making sure that they aren't being taken advantage of, assisting them if they do become a conservatee, and/or taking care of their estate if they die while being a conservatee of the county.
Most government jobs require a physical and a background check and I've never had a job where I didn't have to have a background check before being hired. It makes things tough for ex-cons because even if they're reformed and trying to better themselves, they still are often denied jobs because they have a record.

Probably harder for EK sales since there's no link between GH username and transaction. Dunno. I like the looks of it, but, like Hack Orange, it's one of the "less desirable" Clacks out there. So bear that in mind if you do any trades, especially since translucent Clacks are much less common and tend to sell for more.

Yup, and I do genuinely appreciate them and enjoyed the one skull I had before I sold it at a loss for $30 shipped. It's just so much drama on here revolves around Clacks and usually because people are flipping them for obscene profits after getting lucky in a sale that they entered for the sole purpose of selling for a profit. Everything from auctions, to people profiteering off of them, to conspiracies about insiders getting preferential treatment in sales and raffles, to conspiracies about how they're sold and traded behind doors, to seeing new people getting taken advantage of, to seeing people profiteering off Clacks, the whole feel of sneetches with stars (Clacks), and so on just seems to cause so much drama on here. Honestly, it drives people apart instead of making the community more unified.

As much as I hate the hoarding, I can't fault collectors. And most of the time they at least share pictures of the Clacks, bring them to meet ups, and so on. They generally fall into one of two types, art collectors who lock everything in storage and rarely look at the pieces or put a few into circulation around their house or art collectors who loan stuff to museums or have their own private galleries that they open to the public.

Choosing not to pay an "obscene" amount -relatively... is similar to saying "I will not buy gold for XX.XX per ounce because it comes out the earth and since this is true it is obscene to pay more than the price of dirt."
Hobbies have naturally an awesome price elasticity of demand... and avid collectors who LOCK everything in storage never to be seen again...
That said, I've paid obscene amounts and sold for obscene amounts ($1200+ worth of CCs) because that's what they just sell for. I sell CCs for $100+(rarer colors) because I've PAID $XXX, it's the attached price tag that follows it. The only time that a member will sell for what they truly bought it for is out of a drawing, is an avid collector who does it for the "unity of the community". MOST top collectors would not even consider a price on such items(often times consider it an insult if $$ is mentioned) and ONLY accept trades.... Similar to Pokemon cards, once you get a good trading deck it's used to get even better CCs.
Just the way it works... blame economics and I really would never ever ever EVER consider selling for $25.00 for aforementioned reasons.
It's annoying that everyone is just out to get a CC for a uber cheap price because they a) lack the funds b) don't respect the structure to get there c) want to get a snickering good deal and brag on forums d) etc.
It's a pay to play club... I had to pay full price or get UBER lucky.

Maybe we should only be able to sell things we physically have. So no pre-sales of things people won. That may appease some people. But people will only just wait until they receive it to post it. It'll just postpone the butthurt.

Blanks are considered to be in the low tier of clacks, but I think CF has done some really cool stuff with blanks like the Julysicle and Oktoberfest. Just enjoy the artwork in the colors of the clack, think about that beer and popsicle sitting on your Esc :)

'layered' would be more apropriate, but I think there was another 'brand name' for them already. in my head, I divide CC keycaps into:
blanks
layers

The splats are rarer than the vaders.
leaves come in "toast" and "o' natural" varieties, they look slightly different...
i categorize leaves as 420s (for obvious reasons), but i think cc names them sticky(icky)(icky)

Mose recommend putting it on another key... if you have more than a 60% why not scroll lock, pause, or print screen? I guess Esc is more ideal aesthetically

4grabs are horrible if you in the wrong time zone :'( Hopefully I am awake this time.

The announced ones are ok. I don't mind standing up at 2 or 3AM when I know that I have the chance to get something in 4grabs. But the sudden ones are really horrible. I slept very bad in the first nights after that 'lasers charging' was posted in 4grabs, cause I always thought something would happen when I sleep, like a new release of Salute or Mr. friday BS or even OG BS. And the pure horror are conus only sales :(
I'm hoping for better luck this time although to be fair it's simply not possible to please everyone, some part of the world is always going to be asleep :)
