I think it's an optical illusion. It's probably already below the edge and that's what makes it look so close to it.

other clacks I buy are just for me to trade for the ones I actually think look nice on my board.  I'm not much of a collector of things just for the sake of collecting; once I got these 4, I can 'retire' from spending time and money on clacks and not 'inflate' auction prices so it will be easier for others to get theirs.
