How much the set costs? How can I know if the group buy is still active?

Don't think the actual buy started yet.

The last JTK was about $60 tho so it may be around there.

This is accurate given what I know.  BunnyLake is trying to get the first round of JTK caps out and that buy all wrapped up before opening this one.  His wife is expecting any day now though, so in all likelihood he will drop off the face of the earth for at least a week once she goes into labor...

Any chance of a Classic Beige set?

I mean... the group buy is for the two sets you see

I meant in the future... obviously

wait a week, i can get pretty close, not exactly, but in the ballpark

keep an eye on the store going live again

Bunny's got a lot on his plate at the moment, we just need to be patient. I'm surprised he's getting anything done when his wife should be expecting soon.

+1  getting anything done the first couple weeks after the little guy is born will be almost impossible, so everyone will have to just relax and take a deep breath (and maybe even go outside ).

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Any chance on an inverted (white on red legend) modifiers ? considering The klaxon IC is dead, this could be an alternative xD.

I know it was a lofty request, but did you consider red on grey modifiers?  :3  Didn't see a response to that earlier.

Not to pressure you Bunny, but any idea on the time frame of when we'll be seeing the special JTK set made for the CTRL ALT store?

I know it was a lofty request, but did you consider red on grey modifiers?  :3  Didn't see a response to that earlier.
Also, yes to this. I would really prefer red on beige modsaka just make red alert, but I'll take what I can get.

+1 For grey modifiers, set looks good as is but I love the look of red alert.

Red Alert is a GMK set that was criminally under-distributed. Would be awesome to see a non-crap version of it. Ditto with blue/purple legends on beige alphas/gray mods.

I think Bunny said there will be more keys added as more orders come in so that'll probably include ISO.

And F J with bars too? This shouldn't have gmk moq, I hope.
From what I understand for everything you want added they have to fund it and create it. It isn't like GMK or SP where every cap is profit JTK have to recoup their initial costs.

If people want more selection then support the current group buys even if they don't have everything you want now so they can improve and do more in the future.

If there is going to be ISO also then is the the oppotunity for vendor discount? I might be interested in buying at least 10 of each colour.

Thanks

The advantage to have an easy re-configurable, programmable board is that I just changed my layout back again to ANSI. I learned the hard way that ISO people are a minority, and most vendors, JT included do not have enough potential market to offer the ISO option.

I don't want to be a negative nancy because this project is amazing but are there plans to improve the legends from the first buy?  I thought they were a little bit clumsy and inconsistent, would be awesome if they could reach GMK level.

I hate to rain(drop) :) on anyone's parade here, but the Coca-Cola space bars in that font probably infringes Coca-Cola's trademark and/or trade dress and if the big sugar water corporation gets wind of this, they'll probably slap you with a cease and desist and I'd hate to see you pick up that kind of trouble.   However, I am not a lawyer and depending on me for legal advice is foolish.  ;)

However, a Ctrl Alt spacebar would of course be free of those risks and in my opinion, far far cooler.

For now there is nothing to worry about. JTK is in China so even if Coca-Cola sent a cease and desist there really isn't much that could be done. Group buys have been getting away with it for a long time.

yeah its been commented on a ton of times by myself already

the legends are being constantly improved, and there will be tons of changes made in time for this buy

i do still maintain calling someones hard work clumsy and inconstant is a ****ty way of wording things

once again

these keys are not meant to be a replica of gmk keys, because something is different from gmk doesnt make it wrong
