Having purchased the original Type-9, it was an awesome little macropad with amazing quality, and I feel somewhat underrated in the community.

Great to see most of the suggestions from the community implemented into Series II.  :thumb:

For the polished Stainless Steel versions, what are the steel grade you'll be specifying? And is there any coating on the chrome version?

Would rotary encoder support be an option? Would love a BDN9 with an alu case, and that would fit the bill just right

Thanks for the support Windeh, i am glad you liked the original version :thumb:. It was a very limited run
Concerning stainless steel grade and coating, i am currently in discussion in this regard with the supplier, I will have the answer next week.

Ok great, final pricing will depend on quantity, i will keep you informed.

Hello uood5, no rotatory encoder option is planned for this product.

Hello to all,

I just recieved the PCB pre-production model.
and I am reviewing the cases prototypes from different suppliers
Same for the Packaging and assembly PCB.

Update : For the case it will most likely be PVD Finish Brass instead of Stainless Steel.
I will keep you updated for the definitive material choice

This is just what I've been looking for! In for at least one so long as the price is reasonable.

EDIT: Reread through and caught that the LEDs aren't RGB to save space - will we have the option to shut them off via QMK or etc?

Hello to all

PVD color coating is done - The color+mirror effect are absolutely beautiful, more pictures soon.
I am also in the process of giving compatibility to VIA, to have the complete "plug & play" experience.
Next is text engraving, to display the "Treasure Type-9" name

Thanks for your support.

I'm in for at least 1, possibly 2 depending on price and finish options. Are there any plans to offer any matte finishes, like matte black? Also, does anyone know what the price of the previous version was, for reference? And lastly, would it be possible to order them with extra feet, for when the silicone wears out?

Not gonna lie, the render of DSA Dots has me more interested than the macroboard itself, but nonetheless pretty sweet design! Probably going to get one for sibling's birthday present xD

No plans for matte black for now, and yes we will provide extra feets on demand !

Thanks for the support, a delay for the GB opening is to expect. France is still under lockdown
I will update when the situation evolves.

Packaging looks great! I like the minimal and clean feel of it all.

I totally understand the GB delays due to current world situations. Nothing really to do but wait it out.

Hello to all, Sorry for the late update !
I am ok, thank you for your patience
We are currently in the process of designing an entirely new website/store and it does take a little time.
This will be a complete overhaul of the existing site ( http://macropad.co ). The GB will be on the new website.
More details to come

Thanks

Regardless of IC or not, there should be a 'target price'. If the final price is more, then whatever, but best to not keep people guessing imho

As for communication, there has been little traction, but yall need to be a bit patient to be honest... :P when gb is live it'll be announced

Well, I think it's still okay to be a little iffy about giving someone your money when there is this little information coming. In the end, a GB is always about trust and the self-regulation of the community. I am struggling a little, because I really like the design, but I am not sure I have enough trust to give my money away and then possibly hear nothing about the status for many months...
