This was discussed a bit in the Breaking Bad key buy, but I thought I would throw it out for discussion.

Here is a starting point purely for discussion:

Not a bad idea there... but is there any way we can have letters printed on the crystal keys? Or at least have them engraved or something... I still need letters on my keys to type lol...

Amateur...jk

I am pretty sure that translucent blue can only be done as blanks, but I will check.

We could invert that and make the mods blanks....

Make an inverted and a normal set. Of course, the Br/Ba keys can't be inverted, but everything else can be...

Oh, and I'll admit, when it comes to my overall typing skills, I am DEFINITELY an amateur lol... can't type properly to save my life.

Damn... oh well, I'd be in for an inverted set then if these were to be made. Oh, and maybe make the numbers green doubleshots on the inverted? Again, amateur typist needs to see what he's typing here lol

I would say do as many of the keys as you can as elements, then fill with meth keys.

And what I mean by that is use the letter as a start for what element goes in it's place, eg - G= Ge (germanium)/E=Es (Einsteinium)

Or could do the numbers as B series from QWERkeys, do something like green/white/green or try to integrate a similar to meth blue somehow. Could do it for the f row, too. This may make things more complicated than they need to be, though.

If we do want to do something like this, I'm kinda organizing a GB for B series num rows and I know that NIQMODS is doing the same for F Row...

Make the Walter White Esc the same color green as all the other keys, but make it a dyesub. Then this would be perfect.

Yea super expensive... Perhaps we could throw in a few random ones...or maybe do the Ge Ha or Ge H keys

I always thought a periodic table set would be awesome, but yes quite cost prohibitive with the set up fee for every key for doubleshots.
You know what I would actually buy a full set of the crystal if it could be done on DSA instead. Time for something different.

SP has always refused to use transparent / translucent as the legend. It has been asked many times in the past and they just won't for some reason. The way they have all the lines visible on the backside of the cap would show through, which is one of the reasons not to do it from buyer perspective, it could look pretty bad.

I strongly doubt it, and besides it would look even more obvious the lines from the doubleshot process visible through the top.

The transparent and solid plastics are different plastics and have different shrinkage and all that... So they won't be doing DS in either direction.

The clear is definitely polycarb, the new stuff I don't know since they haven't published anything yet.

1. Crystals can be engraved, yeah? Or does SP not do that?

2. How about a full set of Crystals (all keycaps Crystal) option?

It was a good idea to run as a group buy when buying all the caps from the start which would have made everything ridiculously cheap except for maybe the white on green double shots. I've purchased almost enough keys for everything 1x size so maybe a modifier set instead of a full set would get more interest. I would personally buy crystal tab, caps lock, ctrl, etc keys in the appropriate sizes.

I bought enough meth caps for a set from the first GB so the only thing I'd really want are 2 meth keys with bumps for F and J. Right now I'm using keyboard bumps and while they are really cool the ruin the look of the meth caps.

The TV series Breaking Bad has an extreme cult-like following everywhere on this planet hence this key-set will equally get noticed as well. Just make a decision soon before the TV execs (idiots) decide to kill it off and replace it with another useless so-called "family comedy" crap show, which is cropping up everywhere now.

I feel like an esc key with white crystal rocks on it would be cool. The green and blue is an odd combo though. I think a black/blue would be cool. maybe a blue grey with the iconic Br Ba in green still.

Semi-translucent - yes. They do show backlighting, blue is best, followed by white.

Some time last year I watched The Princess Diaries with my girlfriend, and later the same day we decided to go to the grocery store, where we saw Larry Miller (the actor that plays the stylist that does her makeover and leaks info to the press). Not a big actor (and kind of a ****), but it was funny due to how recently we had watched such an old movie that had him in it!

I normally don't bother them if I see them since I figure they want to be left alone, but my gf normally goes up to them to say hi. We have found that the bigger name celebs are extremely nice while the minor role celebs are all ****s. I think the big celebs are more used to people recognizing them while the minor ones only get it frequently enough for it to be irritating.

Understandable, yeah when I saw Cosby, I just left him and his family alone, hoping not to bother him, as I'm sure he would get a lot of autograph requests that day xD

Would love to have a couple of key-sets like this. This one is the ONLY one offering a combination of translucent caps with greens, very nice combo.

Although I would pay extra for engraved translucent's......if that's at all possible?
