Any idea's on the state of EU shipping?

Bunny contacted me (August '15) to say I was in group 3 but as the plates were not available I deferred until all the bits were together. I changed my mind a few weeks later and PM'd bunny but have heard nothing back.

So much for getting these by xmas..... Maybe they will be ready for christmas this year?

Send another Pm to him :)

hi guys!

Guess I'm a noob (first time flashing a custom keyboard) but I can't get my GH60 working :(

I've flash firmware ukbdc_gh60-0.1.hex firmware using FLIP successfully and the keyboard did not respond any key press. Afterwards I've tried the latest ukbdc_gh60_revB-0.3-dev.hex, also flashed successfully but with the same result. Windows detects the keyboard on device manager but nothing works.

I've open FLIP again and seems that after the 0.3 firmware flash, it always gives and error on USB communication:

Show Image

can someone help me?

Probably better to make a personal thread for this. You would get more views and not take away from this thread.

Samwisekoi has them in California. He's working on getting them prepped to ship and will then get them sent out.  He also posted pics of the goods.

I haven't heard from samwisekoi yet. I feel it's my fault this time, I didn't have much time lately. I'll drop him an email later.

just to be clear for the new comers, neither samwisekoi, bunnylake or I are responsible for this situation, we are just trying to rescue a group buy that was thought long dead.

I gave up on this long ago to the point that I don't even remember what I ordered.  I don't even think I want/need any of it anymore, but in spite of my feelings about that, I must say I really do appreciate that you all are putting in time and effort to try to rescue/resuscitate/revive this buy.  I'd also just like to say thank you to the others who have pitched in along the way to try to keep things going.  I know it's not over yet, and perhaps I should wait, but I feel that unless you occasionally hear that your efforts are appreciated, it's hard to keep pushing forward.

Okay, we have the PCBs and plates sorted out and ready to go.

Now we need your help. If you are available at proxying some orders around US please contact me. I need to know how many orders you can handle and your address.

To all: we do not have funds to cover shipping costs (at least not 100% of it). So you'll have to pay that again. I'm sorry, there's nothing I can do about it.

As a proxy you'll need to:

- collect handling/shipping
- sort the orders
- prepare package
- ship

Many thanks to all who want to support but this GB went pretty wrong already so I will only consider help from people I know or are "esteemed members of the community(tm)".

PS: mashby is the first proxy, he said he could handle all orders, but I would prefer to share the burden over more people.

And mashby is awesome.

And is the idea to ship everything USPS flat rate?

I won't know that until I get some sense of what I'm shipping. My goal is to make it as inexpensive as possible, but if we go first class then we have to factor in the cost of shipping supplies and it may not be worth it.

I can help ship a few orders.  I have shipped 80 orders as proxy for a group buy, but given the potential increased complexity here I would prefer to ship ~20-40 orders.  Unless that is few enough that it's not very helpful?
If I do end up helping, I would also prefer to ship everything flat rate to make it easier for me.  It will add a few dollars to the shipping cost, but save some time/headache on the shipping side of things.

mashby is, of course, a great choice.  :thumb:

mashby is a great choice and so is hoff, though i worry about anyone involved, this group buy is cursed, they may not come out alive.......

please guys handle the address verification and changes correctly, my address has changed and so many others changed addresses since the beginning, and i don't want an open form where everyone can change another person's address. i want my stuff to go to the right place!!!!

id gladly pay shipping costs to unstuck my stuff.

We have approximately 150 US (and Canada) orders.

I'd say we need at least 2 proxies, 75 each. Better 3, 50 orders each.

So far I have one... unless Hoff is up to the task.

Well there's a huge difference between proxying a pcb and a plate versus having to count out stabilizers and sort switches etc, hence why I asked. :P

that means that due to the original "creative" ordering system, it is very complicated to sort stabs and switches.

Alright. I guess I don't know what kind of information you guys have then. I can clearly see what people have in their order from the GH60 checklist that TJ was using, so it's confusing when you say it's complicated to sort the stabs and switches.
Looking forward to seeing what the solution is going to be.

To all: we do not have funds to cover shipping costs (at least not 100% of it). So you'll have to pay that again. I'm sorry, there's nothing I can do about it.
No problem, I wanted to upgrade to decent (insured?) shipping either way (can't risk getting my stuff trashed after this long a wait).

Just let me know when we have payment collectors to whom I need to pay.
IBM Model F XT + Soarer's USB Converter || Cherry G80-3000/Clears

The storage list:
IBM Model F AT || Cherry G80-3000/Blues || Compaq MX11800 (Cherry brown, bizarre layout) || IBM KB-8923 (model M-style RD) || G81-3010 Hxx || BTC 5100C || G81-3000 Sxx || Atari keyboard (?)

Currently ignored by: nobody?
