Orion plate is Stainless steel, so it doesn't go through anodize process.

It will be the same mirror finish as Light Saver 96.

I think he means the acrylic plate we see on Duck's website. ;)

It can be easily made.  When I finally get my board I can look into having those fabricated, too.

You have the .dwg for the acrylic plate that sits between the two alum pieces? It'd be pretty sweet if we could get that piece too huh :S

I think that's one of the files in the second post on this thread.  Here this one:
http://kbdlab.co.kr/index.php?mid=board_housing&document_srl=158172

I might take this over to TAP plastics and have them cut it, does anyone know the thickness?  Unless someone is still planning on having some place do a run for us, it'll probably be cheaper than what I find in California...

I'd probably use 1mm.  Just enough to let some light out.

By the way, for cleaner edges, might want to use polycarb instead of acrylic.

Check out post 384 in this thread, no one replied though... I have been sending the drawings to a few folks in LA but I need it in raster format.  Either way I'm interested if someone sets something up.

Thanks but it doesn't do much good without dimensions :) I'll try to download another dwg viewer.

Edit: got it working, I'll send the drawings out to a few places, get quotes and post them on here.

I already mentioned shipping would be soon, so I'll assume everyone is set with their address. I'll confirm with them that all is ready to ship.

So in anticipation (elton with the good news!) I've been messing with the programming tool. I ran that page through Google Translate and I have a mostly good idea of the different functions available on the keyboard but I have to admit, there are some things that are just a big question mark to me... I'll probably figure it all out once I get the keyboard put together =) How have you guys modified the default layout? Did you shuffle some of the layers around? I think it's pretty good as is...

Anyway, as I've said before, those who ordered grey will receive free set of stabilizers and side acrylic inserts.  :thumb:
