QWER Gamer Set?
« on: Tue, 27 January 2015, 12:30:02 »
Based on several requests, I am considering offering a QWER option to gamer sets. Please leave a comment along with your vote if there are specific keys you require in this set.

They will be CHERRY profile for MX, and of course, I will offer a Topre version if there is enough interest.

They will be based on this design:

Hell yeah!  I would definitely be down for some QWER sets too, to go along with an FN set!  :)  Just wondering if these would be available in topre too?

YES!
my HHKB turns out to be great for dota... QWER would make my board complete.

The keys do not absolutely require ridged grooves, but i imagine it would be fun to press on. It may be more comfortable wihtout the ridges.

As others have mentioned sometimes keys surrounding the QWER as used just as much, so a difference in feel MAY throw off some.

Cool! I would probably be more interested in topre, because of the lack of blank topre caps available. Have you ever thought about making artisan spacebars Bro? That would be sweet!

Gamer kits would include: WASD, Esc, Fn and Arrows. So if you wanted, you could just scoot the ASD keys over :P

Given your awesome fn style keys that you've done for torpe boards a full wasd and arrows set of one of those would be really ****ing cool. I love my clack clusters, but they only come in solid colours and are rare and hella expensive, having more options for super well made cluster combos with more colours and variations would be super cool!

Can't wait to see what you have cooking up down the line

I don't like gaming with Topre.
Although it is the only thing I do use when I game that is because they are the only things I really have to use, not because I prefer them.
MX is my preference when it comes to gaming.

I find topre to be sluggish in games that require rapid response times, like first-person shooters, etc. I have been and am still using the logitech G910. Short throw switches with nice feedback. (dont judge me bro)

Please do a QWER as well as DF as they are definitely used for mobas such as Dota2 (Not sure if they are utilized in LoL as well).

Voted yes, but I'm interested in a topre variant over MX. :) Would love to see something like this produced in large enough volumes to meet demand as opposed to only going to a few people cause they're actually practical and not just for the cosmetic appeal.

I do think it would be awesome as the WASD cluster for FPS.

yeah that's an asian thing isn't it? despite being right handed, when i played CS i also used arrows, numpad and right sided modifiers instead of the standard WASD setup used everywhere else.

Keyboard turning and looking? oO

Mouse master race :p

EDIT: Even being left handed, it would make more sense to use alphas as you have access to more keybinds.
