Someone brought up something and it brought me back to my mmo days and i started to wonder if anyone here games mmo/sc2/fps while using voicechat (ingame/ventrillo/teamspeak), and then ppl would hear the click clack over your voice?
When i gamed with mmo's i'd play 4hours a night with 30 or so ppl and i'd be talking for 3 of those hours giving orders/commands/leading yada yada. Our voice chat was dictated by me, if i heard someone talk and they had like overbearing static (like helicopter noise) well they weren't allowed to talk unless it was crucial.
Samething with screaming kids and other annoying noises.
Then i remembered this one woman, she musta been using a model M or something (but she had a 6k rig at the time so maybe not) and those clangs were reverberating so loudly in my ears.
fwiw i don't remember how many times i pressed a button while i was talking, but it musta been a lot my old ms ergo 4k had most of the lettering rubbed off.
anyone have any loud click clack voice chat stories?
