Finally moved my ass to build it. Tired of lubing each switches, I failed to put switches onto the plate with the right layout. Had to do 1 soldering job but bent/scratch a little bit the plate.

It's HEAVY AF
Changed keycap to Gateron Ghost White and maybe will add Blue Inswitch LED.

Cool. I think it showed up because I posted a typing video on youtube a while ago, as well as a post on r/mk. So did you make yours "winkeyless" as well (there are actually switches there, but the PMK switch blockers cover them)?

Would love a second run of orange PCBs, and maybe a cyan PCB? Cyan is being anodized beautifully in new aluminum cases and would be great to have a matching PCB. Not to mention the myriad of cyan themed caps.

I'd possibly like to hold on until Zeal officially announces his new stabs, and whatever other goodies he's been working on. The steel plate you ran a small buy for are really great so you definitely include those, as well as carbon fibre options and aluminium. Definitely also different colours, gold and red plates possibly. If you're still going with 2 colours of PCBs, in addition to light blue, maybe do purple?

As much as I'd like to say complete keyboard kits, high profile, HHKB style supporting PCBs with snap off corners (like the JD45), I think the aim of this is to be more universal and simple, and at a good price point.

Finally got around building my second keyboard. Very happy with it, need to do a photoshoot...

Anyway: can someone explain the special keymap "Backlight LED" to me? I don't quite get it. Can it actually be used to change the Dedicated Mode (from Breathing to Always on for example)? It only seems to switch the Link of the backlight LEDs (Fn, Dedicated, Always off) but even then there seems to be something missing, I'm quite confused. Is it possible to have it on "Faster Typing, Brighter LEDs" and also on "Always on" when a Fn Layer is active? That would be my favourite mode I suppose...
