Pushbutton Switch for POK3R
« on: Thu, 28 September 2017, 01:34:26 »
Hi,

I'm using pok3r keyboard is working very nice. Sometimes I feel the push button switch is conflicting when I press very faster. Even though, if I press smoothly or slowly I didn't get any trouble!
I'm planning to change my push button switch. Can I change my push button switch with this MX1A-C1NW keyswitch? Or do you have any better idea?

Thanks.

Hello and welcome,

I'm not really sure what you mean by conflicting.

What switches does your pok3r currently have?
The switches you linked are commonly refered as Cherry MX Clears. They are tactile with a stiffer spring than MX Browns.

Know that the NW variants are PCB mounted while, I presume, a pok3r has plate mounted switches (so the NN variant).

Hi,

Thanks for the warm welcome!

I mean if I press the button very faster, the button is not pressing properly.
I'm using PBT keycaps.

Sorry for my poor English.

Thanks again for your advice.

I mean if I press the button very faster, the button is not pressing properly.
That could depend on many things such as faulty switch, USB connection or simply not pressing the button down enough. Try a different USB port for a starter and see how it goes.

Thanks again for your reply. :thumb:

I'm trying too many times to use different USB port but the problem is same. The problem does not always occur sometimes when I'm pressing it faster. If I press normally then I didn't feel anything it's working very nice and smoothly.

Maybe I will try with another device and let you know what is happening there.

Thanks again for your helping.
