Ripster do you know if they'd be molded like the ones in the first picture? They look like they have a strange inset mountain type thing.  While I love the clear key look, that mold is strange :S.

They look like relegendable keys with the caps off.

Should I ask for a price?

Sure, please ask for a price although I kinda like the idea of just normal caps (the NinjaOtaku) instead of these relegendables.  I would think they would be cheaper too that way.

I did not say we should get the relegendable keys. These would not make sense anyway.

Just sent off a request to SP. Until then, I assume they cost the same as other blank keys. But they might be more expansive because the material might be more expansive.

Great, now I raise the price and send the invoices:

quick response from SP:

CLEARBLANK is @ $32 if 15 are produced
CLEARBLANKMOD is @ $34 if 15 are produced.

did not ask for the J-shape return.

If these prices are too high, maybe we take only single sized keys for the top rows.

$32 is a bit spendy.

How about a 12 key FCN row set?   Or a 3 key Scroll/Num/Caps lock set?

I expect a lot of people to use them for lighted numlock and other keys.  Especially with the upcoming Leopolds.

From left to right: SP double shot, Cherry double shot, SP blank.

They are thick enough. You can't feel or see their thickness when they are on the switches. If you want really thick clears, you should ask ClickClack!

can't be easier ...

Kit......................Qty (Category) (price/min. req. Qty.)
CLEARBLANKALP..............2 (Blank Alpha keys) ($13/15 #37)
CLEARBLANKFUN..............3 (Blank Function keys) ($7/15 #16)

CLEARBLANK and CLEARBLANKMOD look good and the votes for CLEARBLANKALP and CLEARBLANKFUN are helpful to reach the currently given prices!

Just the J-shape Return needs more support!!!

Now they might be thinner than classic Cherry keycaps but they really don't flex that easily.

Oh, and they use the same material as LEGO bricks.

I'm confused as sh!t. All I know for a fact is what the CLEARBLANKMOD includes.

CLEARBLANKALP contains 37 alphabet keys? |\ key isn't single so that's excluded? Then there are four keys that are extra, are those meant for arrow keys?

CLEARBLANKFUN are the top F1~F12 + esc, print, scroll lock, pause?

CLEARBLANK is just 90 singular size key caps? why 90? Aren't there 86 singluar key caps in a full keyboard layout?

Where does the enter, |\, capslock, tab, backspace fit into?
