It is so insanely and obviously slanted now that it's not even subtext that it's trying to galvanize one side or the other. Stories now have to identify each person mentioned as either black or white (white meaning "bad guy" of course unless followed by "and an ally"). Every single person is either alt-right or antifa as if normal people with sensibility and good intent don't exist.

Level 3 a backbone provider and CDN (content delivery network provider) went down due to possible DDOS.

Considering they are now owned by Centurylink, I blame incompetence.
While not the worst telecom I've worked with they're certainly near the top of that list.

well yeah for a high level CDN to be sensitive to DDOS attacks there was incompetence somewhere... or one mistake that slipped by, can also happen, although a competent audit should see it and a competent management should require that...
