3D printed dragon keycap

Hi guys,

I got something from shapeways in the mail today :D
I's a dragon keycap I designed and I made some pictures I wanted to share with you.

I am very happy with the quality of the 'Frosted Detail Extreme' material.
Almost no detail from my sculpt is lost and the stem is a perfect fit.

The Strong&Flexible Plastic lacks the high detail of the Frosted Detail material, but I think it turned out good as well.
The stem is a bit tighter, but fits on my gateron blue switches just well with a little pressure.

Not bad!

The scales came out well, it's hard to see them on the transparent ones though.

What is the fit like?  Tight, loose or just right?

Yea, unfortunately the translucent material is a bit harder to photograph but is actually really detailed.
I will try out a new material for my next designs (Black High Definition Acrylate).
It should provide high details and hopefully will be easier to photograph.

The fit with the Frosted Detail (translucent) material is great.
With the Strong and Flexible Plastic materials (colored) I sometimes had to press the keycap a little harder down.
But all of my ordered prints did fit just well so far.
