I'd be in for an icon set (and would be willing to exchanges with some of the keys of the text set if people are interested!)

The half heart is one of the only keys I want from these sets. If you're willing to part with it, I'm sure we can work something out.

I don't mind parting it, though I'd prefer to trade it with some of the novelties from the text pack. I'm basically not much interested in the novelties in the icon pack, but want gnu/git/vim from the text pack. panic/any key and some of the compose/meta keys would be nice too.

Let's move this discussion to PM just to avoid clogging up the forums. Short version: I am more than willing to part with a bunch of those keys.

I like them both. It may be nice to get a rough idea on S&H costs as well.

Would it be possible to get a Red and green dye sub cherry logo as well as/instead of the monotone one? It would add some nice colour to a board. Though it would probably increase the price. :-\

I'll take the icon pack for sure! I really want the PANIC, Vim, GNU, and Git keys too though, but don't think I can justify buying the text pack too just for those.

Another thought, probably a bit late, is for a "DON'T PANIC" key.. which would kind of have a double meaning (opposite of the PANIC key, and a reference to the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy)

Lots of stuff I don't need in the bonus packs, but I would still buy at least one. I'm happy enough this is happening at all and I think the composition is a good compromise.

I believe he was asking if there is any status updates for R2.

R2 is already over too. AFAIK matt3o is doing some kind of bonus kit now that R2 is gone. The information is kinda scattered but I think it was in the SP subforum.

I meant the bonus pack, I know the set gone, but I was in the 1st round, sorry for not being clear.

Seems like the packs have been decided so maybe Matt's just deciding where to run it?  Or setting up the forms, etc.

AFAIK matt is making a few finishing touches and then will be getting prices/junk and then making a thread.
I'm fairly certain he'll be doing the logistics of this buy. [finding distribs etc]

sorry guys for the long silence.

I might have found a distributor, the problem is that I hardly see this selling more than 25 items per kit, making this an expensive toy project. I believe the best way to handle this is through PMK website.

If there's still interest I'll push the kits on SP's website.

You hardly saw R2 coming anywhere near the sales of R1 either ;) Perhaps you don't give yourself enough credit! I am still interested and PMK sounds good to me, as long as the MOQ is low enough in case you are right about sales.

I'll put all the 1u novelties together.

Does this mean there will be three kits now? I would be down for icon + novelty if such things exist. Can we see the latest revisions and rough price updates if anything has changed?

I'm still keen to see a 1u mid grey DON'T PANIC key too, but there doesn't seem to be any other Hitchhikers fans around :( I was thinking of using the red PANIC as my escape key, and the DON'T PANIC as my 1u backspace.

Like the others said, I have a feeling you're underestimating the popularity and demand of the add-on kits. :))  And yes, does this mean there are now three kits?
