For the question
Customize the Key logo on the weight (optional): material-(finish)-color
Option
I didnt order the Key logo top case

The option ought to be “I didnt order the Key logo weight”
Correct?

What is the cost for the extra plates? I realise the cost to upgrade, but not the cost for the extra.

You can get 1 extra plate, Alu or PC for $10. Add extra cost for brass/Ti.

That makes more sense, yea would be nice to know.

Speaking of which is there a price difference between the key logo(s) being brass as opposed to not? As per what is written in OP and in the form it appears not but rather get confirmation.

Is this how the layers are arranged?

I've added some structure diagrams in the OP. Hope the diagrams explained it well.

Hi senter, how will the key logo top look like on polycarb version?

Will it be color as well as the alu? Or will it be just engraving?

Thanks!

No poly prototypes with Key logo has been made so I can't answer.

The key logo is a separate part.

1. can we ask to undervalue the package?

2. whats the weight difference between brass vs alu weight?

3. if i choose brass weight will the shipping get more expensive due to the increased weight?

4. you may want to change the "I didn't order the Key logo top case" option under key logo weight question

Is this how the layers are arranged?

also need confirmation on this pls, is this example using ANO BLUE as the top and middle, and ANO GRAY as bottom?

1. PM me for answers.
2. I haven't weighed it yet. A reviewer is sending the prototypes to me. I'll have the numbers when I receive them.
3. Possibly. The shipping fee is more expansive for every 500g.

Sorry this may be a stupid question as this is my first GB board. Does the hot swap PCB support 7U, 6.25U or both types of space bar?

Hotswap PCB normally can only support one layout. The layout we chose was the 7u spacebar layout.

Any chance we can order 1 extra front and back logo in different colors?
It would help when matching different keysets.
Cheers!

Q: ISO support?
A: Supported by the universal PCB but not by plates. I'll share the plate file before the GB closes.

im pretty new to this hobby but this keyboard looks sick, I need iso. what can i do with the plate files if you release them?

It depends on where you live. You should try to find some local or online laser cutting services like https://lasergist.com. Just order the 1.5mm thick plates.

Yes. And this question is optional. You don't need to choose any options. Even if you choose other options and you ordered the Kanji logo, it doesn't change anything.

The options are for the key logo. The Kanji is engraved, not a separate piece.

The Kanji logo is engraved so the only way to get it colored is to use paint.
Afaik some people use acrylic paint.
There was a post teaching how to do it but it's in Chinese.  https://www.zfrontier.com/post/detail/4245
Here's how the result looks like

Also please take a picture of the sides of one of the prototypes, I want to see how the middle piece looks in regards to the top and bottom so I can decide on a colour, thanks!

To add to this request, would it be possible to take a side pic with the middle piece being a different color than the top and bottom?  It would help determine if I would want to just match it with the top or experiment with the color.

I am in for WKL hotswap, Full PC case, teal plate, teal weight, with Brass key logos on both sides  :D stoked

Is the hotswap and WKL an option? I was under the impression that the hotswap PCB only supported the 7u spacebar? Does this mean a 1u blocker is an option?

1u blocker requires a 7u spacebar, hotswap pcb is 7u spacebar only

just don't put a switch in the winkey position so you can use the blocker :)
