Wow that's crisp. It says it's a demo. I collect Nike SB and usually their samples use better material and just better quality in general. I wonder if this is the same with keyboards.

I wonder if the shrink wrap has kept the keys in the depressed state (and the springs buckled) for the last 7 years, and if that would have any long term effect on them.  I doubt they were designed to be held in that position for any extended period of time.

thats an interesting question. I would think a metal spring would still return to its normal state, even if it was 'buckled' for years on end.

I have two NIB mini's and they were not wrapped with anything. There are two pieces of styrofoam and the box. I don't really know, but DID they originally come wrapped in something?

ok, just checking. I guess the seller is just trying to keep it clean (?)

Too bad about the box, though on a certain level it shouldn't matter. But on another level it matters alot.

I kept my boxes just the way I got them.

I see from your sig that you got 5 spacesavers. What years are they?

I live in Florida and its only humid during the summer. The winter months can be quite dry.
Having said that, I have gotten deliveries where the boxes were wet, but thats only because the driver was to lazy to open the screen door and throw the box inside. Instead leaving it out in the open.
That happened to me once with an Amazon shipment and the three books were completely ruined. Amazon made good on it though.

SE Asia is always humid. I lived on Okinawa for a year. Its always damp and nothing seems to really get dry.

This would drive me nuts.  It's humid here, but not in a salt water kind of way.
