that u8g tv for $800 looks pretty gud, 

buhh... Tp4 is really 2 old for most of this gear, don' really play games. that's pretty much all this stuff does.... waitn' for quantum oled to come down to reasonable.

what are you guys buying ?

This Prime Day so far has been bad, as most of the deals I can get daily from local retailers in my area.  Also most of the things I want are not on sale to the point that I would consider buying.

Would buy it, but Leslieann said - do not buy ssds from amazon. So I won't :D

After seeing the reviews and hearing horror stories, I will never order 6-8TB HDD's from Amazon since they have a habit of selling out of warranty drives

Other than I'm more enticed by NewEgg's deals right now - seeing a Gigabyte RTX 3080 at $750 w/ coupon code. .

They have not had any real deals since like 2017. All Prime Day is now is liquidating warehouse stuff that's way overstocked and did not sell.

Best bet is Microcenter, if you can.

Second best...
Newegg, except for motherboards(!) and buy from Newegg or direct from the the manufacturer (some like Adata do direct sales through Newegg), not 3rd party sellers.
Amazon, great for motherboards but absolutely no drives and beware anything that is currently or was recently being scalped heavily (I.E. gpus)

Neweggs RMA and customer support can be great for some things but their recent track record on motherboard cpu pins is a massive concern. For Amazon the easy return policies and lack of morals, standards and control over inventory that will help you return a bad motherboard also means you may get a bad motherboard or gray/black market drive.

Yeah NewEgg got called out for their crappy return polices on Hardware, for boards and CPU's I always got to one of the Microcesnters around here (have 2 to choose from).  New Egg I tend to use for MicroCenter to price match lol.  But a majority of the hardware I buy is from Performacne PC's and MicroCenter (then the ocassional meetup to buy from someone off of Reddit).
After seeing the crap Jay and Steve go through with NewEgg, I pretty much wont buy from them if I can and I do miss the ability to check Frys but they gone.
