In regard to the color... yes they are a bit grey, as they had to be so dyesub would still show up. Whether you want to call it very dark grey, or light black... I don't know. Can't use true black key for printing as it would have been totally invisible. I do also have a set of the dark Cherry profile KBC/Vortex that I got on the massdrop. Those are a shade lighter than these to my eye. The color temperature is also different. These are more 'blue' hued, while I feel the Vortex ones are more 'brown' hued. Can't take a photo that shows the difference with my crappy low res phone camera.

I just got my keys and started slapping em onto my KUL ES-87. It's a pretty common board, so if anyone else is in my shoes let me know:

Basically, my space bar is sticking with this new one. I put on the old one and it works just fine but when I press the spacebar with the new guy on there it's not springing back up correctly, it's like he just wants to be there bottomed out. Any tips?

P.S. they look sexy as hell Ivan is Awesome!

edit- if i just *barely* press it onto the switch then it's working just fine now. it sits a few mm higher than the other keys though. Think it just needs to be "worn in"

Edit 2: Potato pic. I use a black cable @ home, white was all I had onhand at the office.

I had a similar problem with my spacebar but on a much different keyboard so I don't know if this will help you in any way. My keyboard is a modded filco with a universal TKL plate and cherry stabilizers. My problem ended up being caused by the stabilizer bar. It was probably 1mm too wide so it was binding against the inside of the stabilizer assembly. I had to shave off some metal with a dremel.

+1 most likely your stabilizer is rubbing

+2. Stabilizer is rubbing. You need to sand or "shave" the inside of the spacebar to give the stabilizer an extra .25mm of room on the insides of both sides.

Yes, on the 6.25 due to how many different spots there are for the stabilizer mount I can see how that may cause some rubbing issues, especially with Cherry stabs. Clipping the walls off the stabilizer slider guide may also be another way to solve it.

I thought Costar stabs were the problematic ones?

These don't have markings for which row, so just start with the bigger keys and it becomes apparent where everything belongs. Cherry has the same basic shape as OEM as well, they are all just shorter.

For anyone else who needs help installing Cherry profile blanks, here's an album. Included are two pics of a Poker II (blues) with the official black aluminum case and these keycaps. Looks like I have 8 keys left over (four 1.5 R1, two normal R1, one R2 weird shift, one big spacebar). Is that normal?

Nope, you can find them all over the place. They don't have the best build quality though.

Filco has wire stabs so it should work fine.

I put a set on my Noppoo Lolita, it's the only board I have with Costar style stabs... I didn't encounter any issues not even with the enter which is the usual problem with Cherry profile and Costar.

Thanks Ivan, you're the man. I love these! they are replacing the Filco Blank set I got several years back: http://www.diatec.co.jp/en/det.php?prod_c=611 which I found to be too glossy. These feel so nice. Thanks for being patient with all the people complaining.

Can someone comment on how scratch prone these are?

I've found that PBT is easily scratched with a fingernail. Needless to say, if you're going to try scratching one, do it on a spare keycap, or an edge/side that's not visible.

Lu_e, I noticed mine came with 2 scoops for home and 1 non-scoop for the keypad. All three are lines though, and since I bought two sets I can either do scoops or non-scoops!

I noticed your space bar stabilizer bar is visible, I think something might not be aligned perfectly on yours right now because mine is completely hidden. I can't see the metal at all.

I like the red LED change, the blue is really bright. Got any tips on doing that? Is it just a matter of a little solder?

It's aligned fine and on as far as it will go, I don't know why it seems to sit just a tad higher. I know it is warped just slightly upward on the ends but even then.

It came with a red LED. It's a Majestouch II Ninja with red switches, which might be why. Shouldn't be hard to change though.

I only bought 1 set... a no scoops option/extra row2 keys or whatever would have been really nice. I'm kinda one for uniformity, and this is a big surprise. (no I haven't tried scoops, nor did I plan on buying any) But hey with the way this group buy is going anything is possible.

If you have any issues with missing/duplicate keys or defective... you can contact imsto directly if you want 'immediate' resolution... otherwise you can send PM me with a clear and precise description of the problem. I will collect all issues and deal with them at the same time after everyone that has a set shipped has had time to report in.

Just received mine (was in our old house, forgot to ask Ivan to change shipping address). Gonna check if everythings okay.
