This was the basis for my posting this thread.

However! If that isn't the case I can remove this thread.

Delicious.

I'm looking to do a layout akin to this, should everything go well. I think the HL key throws it off so I might change it to a blank red key, but I hope it'll look as badass as I hope.

That's nice, kinda subtle, minimalistic - works well :)
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

One day when my parents fix their camera ill borrow it and get some decent pictures of my poker.
If you live in AZ you can try my keyboards. I usually keep plenty of different ALPS and MX and buckling springs.

How hard is it to get used to having arrows/home/end/pgup/pgdn in the Fn layer?

I never ever did use the Home cluster appart from delete, so for me it was a breeze.

The only thing is that when I use a normal keyboard I always go for the modifiers instead of the arrows. Such is muscle memory.

Acutally it's not very hard at all. Once you use to the fact you have to hit the 'fn' key along with another key you wont have a problem at all. I have had it for about 5 days now and I'm already use to it.
