A short introduction.
« on: Mon, 09 February 2015, 23:04:26 »
I am new to the forum. I have a few close friends who are part of this truly enthusiastic enthusiast group. I love wheelieboarding into pools, retro gaming, Sanic, public domain books, computer hardware and peripherals, and reading the news. I currently only have a CoolestMaster Gale -Force-Wind with blue switches but am ready and willing to explore new exotic horizons such as Topre and maybe even adorn my Quickfire with artisinal capestries.

I'm truly excited to finally be part of this community. I've been meaning to sign up for almost a year.

PS. I know how to spell erratic, but sometimes my fingers are unpredictable and errors are made. Let's just think of Eraticape as a new type of Pokemon will we?

Welcome to Geekhack! No doubt your friends have told you how empty your wallet is going to be soon. You will have half a dozen boards before you know it.
Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

Welcome to Geekhack!

"CoolestMaster" :))  First time I have heard CoolerMaster named like that ;)

I have a QFR and a QFS.  And a Trigger.

And Topre.  And two Model M keyboards.

You have a long and exciting journey ahead of you.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
