After watching Thousand Ways To Die In The West I've lost all faith in Seth Mcfarlan's ability to write comedy.

He's too Television, and not MOVIE..

But that's fine here,  because Orville is Television...

The gender-issue episode is a bit hard to watch,  not terribly comfortable with yaoi-genre myself.

Overall though.. I think the actors and script handled the issue very well.

Despite the low budget..

The set looks great and spacious.

The dark atmos of Trek Discovery made every scene claustrophobic.

The complexity of their set also made it uncanny..

This show is fantastic..

There's no pressure to succeed,  and so it has allowed them to take risks that the bloated Trek franchise simply can't do.

tp4 talking to himself again.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

This show .. man.. good stuff..

A major difference between the Latest space operas and -old treks- is that the Females are allowed to be in repeated promiscuous situations without shame..

Even now, we still have residual cultural stigmas / manifestations based on the female identity as possessions of males..

That said..  tp4 still can't get a date.. so... sigh...............  this is really only worse for tp.. hahahahaha

Hrrrmm.. Adrianne Palicki..

She's a little too chunky for her character-type in this show..

Losing weight is going to be difficult for her as well given her advanced age.

Hope she stays slim enough for seasons to come..
