Hi Friend,
We are KeyboardDaily From China.
A Keyboard Media in Bilibili.
We share news and comments of new GBs to Chinese friends.
And this is our first Keycap design.

This Keycap is inspired by Violet Evergarden, an anime which is one of my favorite.
Violet is a Doll, who help others to express emotion in their letters using typewirter.

To me, Pre-IC's are just an excuse to post a half-baked IC and gives me an impression on your work ethic.

Kitting needs A LOT of work. Please familiarize yourself with what actual kitting looks like before making your own keycap set.

please consider actually doing research and putting in effort. the concept is nice, but terrible presentation, also, wrong subforum.

I do not like this Pre IC Why is it so hard to just Finish Your Product before you sell it !!

This was at one time intended for interest checks. It is now a space to let you advertise your well thought out design, renders, collabs, and art for the purposes of getting high numbers of people interested so that you can get a good vendor. You’re demonstrating your work ethic and ability to read the room…in not the way you want.

The colours look fairly good and does actually remind me of the character. Flesh the IC out more with better kitting and renders and you should be able to garner more interest.

Why there are little chinese friends using GeekHack?
Chinese friends cannot see GeekHack easily for some reasons we all know.
They need it , so we do it, to let Chinese friends know new IC and GB.

I think it's shameless! And I don't like your design，too.

搬了回来 doesn't mean "we are copying Geekhack". It means they are translating the content and moving it so Chinese internet users can read, categorize, and discover GH's content too.

It's a popular thing because a lot of sites in the West are blocked in China and/or are in English which they don't understand

So they have folks that do 搬运 (hence the 搬) which on a literal sense means "moving the goods" but it's Chinese internet speak for moving, categorizing, and translating content.

Seeing how Geekhack is hard to navigate even for those that read English, I'm not surprised someone took the effort to re-organize the site to make it easier to read - which is fairly common and legal. Look at news aggregator apps.

What's with all the influx of these brand new accounts that are made for the sole purpose of starting accusations and drama. Y'all need to really go outside and take a breath of fresh air. Relax.

pretty sure the dudes over china cant access geekhack easily or rather find it difficult to read through the contents available. hence they are translated there. did you even do your research before blatantly accusing others? oh btw, your translation is completely incorrect, but the other dude has already highlighted it so no point in harping over it.

People like to be harsh on here because the community is growing really fast and that comes with growing pains. I think the term “interest check” could be easily misinterpreted by anyone who hasn’t taken the time to peruse the site a bit. Would be even more difficult if English isn’t your first language imo.

Set colours look good. Take a lot of time to hammer out the details and dial in your idea more, then come back!
