I had a client for a time who smelled horribly of cat piss, but she needed quite a bit of computer work, so I was game, and she was paying well.

However after the second visit I just couldn't do it anymore, the piss smell permeated everything, me , my tools, hell my flash drive that I was using to install basic programs off of stank, and all it did was plug in and then be put back in my pocket.

Nice lady, horrible idea of how to take care of cats.

I can count on one hand as many people I know that took care of cats enough that they didn't stink or smell like piss. I wish that number was much higher. (But it is possible.)

Yeah, could be the case.
We clean our cat's litter every day, plus we use Catsan, basically it doesn't smell at all.
Plus male cats can piss all over the place to mark their territory. Snip-snip can fix this problem
Our cat was sterilised. He occasionally shags his favourite pillow, but it also doesn't smell
Anyway, when you smell a cat from very close, you will find out that they do not smell - their hair is very clean, cats clean themselves all the time. Cleanest pet animals I've ever seen.

I actually thought of starting a thread like this a couple days ago, but now I don't recall the opinion I wished to express.

On the topic of dogs:

I would rather take my dog outside to pee and poop than clean a disgusting ammonia box of crap.

I've had both and have gone back and forth over which I like more. I've determined that I like dogs more, and I really liked only my particular cat because he had a good personality (cat-ality?). My mom's house is finally getting tolerable in terms of cat smell after running an air purifier for a couple months straight. Dogs were selectively bred from wild species by humans, (Domesticated).  We did not Evolve together in any symbiotic form , like say, Lichen  (cyanobacteria  + fungi).

It's more akin to the situation of Cabbages where we selected for bigger softer edible leaf.

In a russian experiment, they were able to select for and create human friendly Foxes within a short few generations,  such animals took on physical characteristics of modern dog-breeds, patchy colors not of the original all ashblack species.

Someone who is on Whole-Food-Plant-Based  only eats minimally processed PLANTS, excludes refined oils.

A Vegan could be into animal rights, anti-fracking, anti-drilling etc.

Someone who is WFPB, could be pro-fracking, pro arctic drilling, know nothing about animal rights, and work in any of the variety of cow-murder industries.

There IS often an overlap of ethical areas of veganism with people who are also WFPB.   That does not mean WFPB is Veganism/Vegan,  Because it is not.

That’s such bull. Cat owners always say that they’re clean and all that but our cat loves to muck around on the recently pissed and pooped on litter box. Then she licks herself as if being covered in spit is any better. F that. Every time I bathe her ( once a week ) the water is left dark as hell. She’s also super needy , always needs to be on top of someone or she will not shut up. Not that dogs are cleaner or less needy tho.

Vegan culture is very broad.

It's like saying human culture,  one doesn't agree with the majority of what's included.

Agreed! The word "vegan" carries a connotation with it and that's why you shy away from using the word.. and I understand why. That's common with a lot of things nowadays. Good news is we're all people just trying to get healthier while achieving the best CPU/GPU benchmarks possible.
