I really don't see the big deal of this group buy. It's not like I'm taking credit for coming up with this color scheme... It's just a color scheme for keys, not like I'm trying to sell and make money from patented pcb design etc that is rightfully theirs. If I have offended any one from OTD I apologize, I just wanted to open up these keys to the rest of the world.

I don't think they have to be offended, and if they are it'll be the most stupid offense; let's think about it, keycap color :-)
They should instead be proud to have set a trend...

Go on zaerst, good job.

credit was given, and it's not like we're making fake iphones here.

plus SP seems to screw up every group buy somehow, so it wouldn't surprise me if ours came out looking different =P

I don't see how this would offend anyone. Credit was given to them for coming up with the color scheme. Technically, this color scheme was a happy accident by SP. Remember this color combo wasn't what the OTD guys ordered in the first place; SP messed it up but OTD guys ended up liking it. OTD originally intended to make Wyse key cap replicas. Props and credit to OTD but we're not breaking any laws here.

Please ship those contraband keycaps in an airtight container stuffed inside a teddy bear, hopefully the DEA isn't monitoring the  group buy threads.

more than reasonable.  That means zaerst is not even charging for the time he will spend to pack them, plus packaging and such.

zaerst, how big is your order so far?  are you close to 30 or 50?

A complete 87 key set consists of:
Base set !!~Does not contain any arrow keys or ctrl alt shifts~!!
Ctrl Alt Shift set
Arrow set

Now I'm confused. The complete set consists of the above but it doesn't inlcude ctrl alt shifts..but then it's listed right below. I thought the complete set consists of the base set, ctrl/alt/shift set and arrow set all combined.

I was confused by this at first too but I PMed him and responded that the first picture in the thread is what he means. It's RGB legends on grey keycaps, not RGB keycaps.

I for one did order two complete sets! I'm psyched about this group guy and for those who might be on the fence, go for it! These keys are going to be awesome, if you don't you know you'll regret it.

P.S. My girlfriend loves the color scheme

btw, for all those asking about payment etc, dont worry about it yet. Once ordering is closed I will collect money and submit the order. I do it this way mainly because if something were to happen, like not enough orders etc, I wouldnt have to go through the trouble of doing all the refunds for people who paid already.

What happens if there's enough people for the standard set but not enough for modifiers or arrow keys because people are splitting their votes? Would you combine those orders and just pick one (I hope you pick the RGB modifiers and yellow arrows because that's the ones I want! MORE COLOR!)

I think any of the keys you could switch between your filco and noppoo are fair game. The ones that might give some issue are the unconventional sized ones like the modifier buttons (right shift, right alt, etc)

Don't understand why you'd wanna change out the noppoo keys though. Sure they look sketch but they feel great! :-)

Hopefully in 2 weeks we will have enough orders, if so I will place order. Currently lead time is 4 weeks for SP to manufacture plus 2-3 days to get to me. Finally depending on where you live 4-7 days to get to you.

So lets say I order on the 20th of may (the plan), you could expect to get them the week of June 26th.
