Package of Mystery
« on: Thu, 12 January 2017, 10:33:03 »
In February (can't believe it's been almost a year), I received my first Nightcap: a half-shell. I was curious about this newish artisan (he had made a few caps before that time) and for the price of shipping I couldn't pass up the raffle. I won my top choice, which was the wacky Crayon Dog colorway we've all grown to love.
A bit later etf showed his Fugu sculpting. I had no idea he'd pump out so many colors later on, but when all kinds of colorways were churning out the factory I always wondered why he never made a matching Crayon Dog colorway. I would've loved to match it on my Topre board with the shell.

Finally, etf released the matching Ambrosia Salad, albeit in gold bags. I thought I never would've gotten one, or at least so soon. On Monday this week I received an unexpected package in the mail:

I opened it up:

My eyebrows could not have stretched any higher, nor my mouth any...agaper.
Not only did I get the Ambrosia Salad Fugu (one of the four Fugus I "need"), but I got the Aerokeys mod set I desired the most and of which I tried to win in their giveaway.

I posted about this package before, but what I didn't post was this following picture (I wanted to get the senders' permission first before posting their names publicly):

Aw, that's awesome!
I generally hate all keycaps. Keycaps are for poofs. Real men touchtype on stems. Non-functional artisans are awesome, I use them for the ESC key ... escape is for cowards anyways, real men go frontal assault.
