New model OLED prices are $500-1000 cheaper than last year's release models.

It's important news, because Indoor life may be the ONLY life for the next 2-5 years.

How many is too many though? I have been pretty happy lately with 3, both at work and home. I'm not doing any stocks trading or anything either though.

Honestly, I have had enough to do that before. Maybe I still do. They're almost all mixmaster Goodwill finds though. I'm seriously thinking about giving some away with some SFF desktops I scored for cheap if I manage to sell them all off. I need more room for storing desktops/cases that I care about, and actually working on computers in that space.

I want the streachable, foldable OLED screen I was promised that runs for 7 years on a watch battery and I can roll up into my bag!

?? Oled has always used MORE power than LCDs, it's never been a power saver, you're thinking of E-Ink displays.

That's what his post reminded me of as well. There are a lot of people working very hard on new battery technology at least.

Now just to release the OLED monitors to the market and all will be good - But I guess I'll be trading in my 55" LG for an OLED variant very soon :ninja:

The latest 48 inch Oled is the targeted G4m3r monitor.

IMHO, oled is still not ready for Desktop 24/7, gaming use.  Buhhh.. we'll see.

Yeah, not looking to put a 48" panel on my desk, 32" is pushing in for my case and my PS4 Pro is collecting dust (still don't really know why I got it when I did)
