GMMK compact stabs

Hi,

I plan to buy a gmmk compact barebones as my first kb for "educational purposes" and I've heard that the stabs that come with it isn't really good so I plan to buy new ones to replace it.

Am I able to mod/clip the stabs for plate mounted stabs? Is there a need to it?

yeah just get some lube like 205g0 and get some dielectric grease and do the regular mods to it. Bandaid and what not is a good idea too.
