Filco Convertible 2 review
« on: Tue, 21 April 2015, 11:01:29 »
Hey guys! We just published a review of the Filco Convertible 2, after I had my first hands-on time with it. You can check out the full review on our blog; here's a teaser...

Quote
Today, like many days, Iím writing a lengthy article on a full-size Filco keyboard. Iím hitting around 80 words per minute, lovingly listing specifications and technical tips. Normally Iíd be at home, but today Iím on the train Ė and Iím typing on my phone wirelessly. The keyboard Iím using isnít a standard Filco; itís the Convertible 2. Itís called the Convertible because it can work like a traditional USB keyboard when a wire is plugged in, but itíll just as happily connect to a phone, tablet or laptop over Bluetooth when youíre sitting on the couch or on the move.

Of all the keyboards I have tried my 2 favorites are my Filco and my KBTalkingPro - this seems like the perfect marriage of the two.

Makes sense. Let us know what you think of the keyboard once you've had time to test it out!

Filco have been left behind too much now. The 750r from Leopold blows it away. And still with the thin ABS cap??!?

Any chance of you guys stocking Leopold?

Hi Sencha,

We can only support so many manufacturers while providing good support and keeping stock levels sufficiently high. When looking for new partners, we tend to look more at ones that innovate and add something new.

I haven't heard anything like that, but I suppose you could always get a ninja key set and install it if you liked?
