Not to beat a dead horse Sneaky but do you have any updates on these last batches of keys? I see the title says final packages are shipping now but the Forgemas page hasn't indicated that. Myself and a few others got a shipping notice midway through last week but it has not progressed beyond that. Trying to be patient, but it's so hard sometimes! Thanks!
No worries, I planned on updating that page as soon as all packages were out.
I have the last small pile of packages sitting in front of me, they will be going out this evening and tomorrow night. I took a pause to go to the meetup, and now I’m back in the swing of things. Emails were sent out last night to any addresses that needed to be adjusted. If you have tracking, then that means you have a package that is nearly ready to be shipped.
I believe it should be totally wrapped up in a day or two, and then I’ll move forward with the quick leftover raffle and t-shirt shipping. The Forgemas page will be updated as soon as all packages are out of my house and in the mail
For those of you that watched Tiny’s ArTEAsan interview on her stream this past weekend, I will be moving to doing keycaps as a full-time job in the next couple of weeks. This will give me the ability to ship out these larger sales much quicker, since right now I’m juggling so many personal and career things at once on top of trying to create the best sale experiences that I can for you guys. Most of us are doing these sales/shipping in the evenings after work and in-between spending time with our families (or crying into pillows after masturbating if single) and shipping/fulfillment can get a little crazy. I appreciate everyone being so patient with shipping, and I’m doing my best to improve the wait period after you’ve purchased keys in large sales.
In future sales, I will be changing the way that tracking is sent. As of right now, you are getting tracking the moment I print out your label, but soon, you will instead get tracking once your package hits the mail stream. That means once you get tracking, the package is already moving, so it won’t cause confusion and create worry that the package was lost or misplaced.
I will also be creating a SLA (service level agreement) with my shipping, so that you can expect your package to ship within a certain time period when it comes to flash sales and larger themed sales. I feel like this is an important step into creating a higher level of trust between artisans and the community. It’s important to me that you guys get your **** that you paid for as quickly as possible.
Finally, don’t ever be afraid to ask for updates, I will provide them as often as I can.
