For when they apply post-processing blur to improve skin texture on cameras..

Like the samsun beauty face thing..

Is there a word for that ??

That's the common term for the process/result, so yea. Looking at Samsung's page for Beauty Face in particular it appears to have additional settings such as enlarging eyes and slimming the face which if only slight might still be considered retouching.

Then you have things like FaceApp which is full on digital manipulation using neural networks and depending on the mode can modify the source's face in dramatic ways. It's remarkable where it's headed.

I was looking at surgical robots peeling grapes the other day, they're getting pretty damn good at it..

Soon it might be able to fully automate those Krazy Korean cosmetic surgeries..

then everyone can be super attractive at low cost.

Just looked this up... There's something mildly disturbing about its clinical precision and peeling of the layer.

Bit of a tangent but in the film industry we call them 'cosmetic fixes' and there's whole VFX houses dedicated to it now. It's still a very manual process although tracking is getting pretty amazing. It's becoming standard that some actors will basically end up having every mid and close up shot turn into VFX. It's kinda horrible but it's the price of higher definition and obsesssion with youth.

Got a link to the robot grape peelers TP?
