HP 8 port Gigabit Managed switch - $40 + ship
« on: Wed, 28 March 2018, 08:33:06 »
Found this in the CDW outlet while looking for something else:
https://www.cdw.com/product/HP-1920S-8G-SWITCH-US-EN-BSTK/4970495?pfm=srh

Not a bad price considering these are usually no less than $100.

I once found a 40 port Cisco switch at Goodwill for $5. They thought it was a VCR...  :))
I proxy anything including keyboards (キーボード / 鍵盤), from both Japan (日本) and China (中國). For more information, you may visit my dedicated webpage here: https://www.keyboards.es/proxying.html

That's awesome!

I picked up a vintage operating typewriter with case for $10 when it goes for a minimum of $120 online.

I think goodwill is all about turning the inventory vs getting the most money for the goods since they have a constant stream of inventory.

Goodwills are weird depending on who is running each location. Some have pretty straight pricing (small electronics $5, DVDs $1, etc) and then some try to price everything and are almost always way off. I also found a NIB Logitech G602 for $10 that I now use daily at work and I've also seen the other end of the spectrum where they were asking $200 for an Xbox 360 (in 2017!).

Yeah, I think it's related to their turnover rate.  It seems like the ones that don't get as many donations price things higher.
