Hi,
I'm looking for a quiet keyboard that also has turbokey functions (that are independent of the windows os repeat rate).
ie: I hold down the keys 12345678, I want it to fire 12345678 as fast as it goes.
any suggestions? is my terminology correct re the turbo key?
also:
macro programable would be nice.
should also be in standard 105 key layout (ie: no funky reposition of the \ key , or the ins/home/pgup/del/end/pgdn )

So you want:
-Ability to exceed OS repeat response rate.
-Non-clicky.
-Macro keys.
-Normal layout.
-NKRO.
The limiting factor on this one will be the "turbo mode", since it's not a super common feature...but I think you can get all of what you want with an HEC Cougar Attack X (http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=36888.msg698071#msg698071).

The ducky shine that I had had turbo functions. 1-4x. I also believe it is NKRO with PS2. It has non-clicky keys available, normal layout. but no macro keys unfortunately.

-insert joke about aging single women here-
Aside from the funny name I'd be all over that keyboard if they made a tenkeyless version. Maybe even 60%.

thanks for the suggestions, I'll check it out.
