Can not get my payment to go through, when i try to pay the screen just goes white. I have the orders in my history ( I tried twice) but they are listed as unpaid. I guess I am not getting one this time.

Well then, I need to have orders deleted because I didn't think I was getting a ticket and it created multiple tickets because I thought it didn't go through.

the site is getting hammered  right now, and although ctrl alt is keeping up pretty well, just the huge volume of communication between stripe, ctrl alt and you etc may be lagging a bit

I've had to pay via paypal for for previous group buys because Stripe doesn't interact with my credit card for some reason. If this is the case am I just unable to participate in this group buy?

Picked up a Silver Cherokey in MX. That traditional is sick, wish I had the funds for it right now.

Stoked to check one of these out!

Also went really smooth, the only issue was that I had a neverending "Processing..*circle*", but when I refreshed it said paid, so I assume I got in. Great work with the site guys!  ;D

Entered card details, pressed next - got a white page with no progress spinner active.  Didn't want a double charge so returned to the homepage and now my order history shows processing with a spinning circle thing and my cart is empty, so I guess my participation in this buy is in the hands of Unetlanvhi :-X

This is what happened to me minus the white page and return to home page. I waited five minutes or so then refreshed and it had gone through.

Just checked out on an order, and I got brought back to home page with an error textbox. Checking the order history, the processing circle is still spinning. Does it just take time to go through?

How long should we wait for it to try and go through? Online banking takes about a day or two to update, so we can't really check if our cards were charged. Wouldn't want to miss out on the traditional cherokey :o

Was just about to go here and ask if this was normal.

Also, I errored out a couple of times on mobile - but I guess it went through since I got a ticket...there was no confirmation of my purchase (just a white screen).

FYI, I got flagged for fraud on my card, guess it didn't like you guys :(

In for one of each in Topre though! RIP my wallet for real...

hey guys

im gonna have to go to bed soon, as a result of the issues, we will leave this running at least over night for people, and possibly for some time tomorrow as an extension, partly as an apology and also to allow me some time to take care of as many people having issues as is possible

thanks to everyone for the support shown to both [CTRL]ALT and Bro Caps work in general, anyone who i havent replied to yet, im gonna try and do as much as possible before i sleep now, but if i dont get to you, i will in the morning

ive also been playing with the new ctrl alt site behind closed doors today, and we have some big announcements coming soon involving both that and bro caps, and making sure its a smoother experience for everyone in the future

thank you once again

About 6 hours late to this and almost killed myself if I missed this since I've been waking up early in the morning since yesterday waiting for it.

Luckily I got in and was able to buy all of them in Topre.

Thanks Bunny!

Thanks Bunny!

I didn't realize this was a group buy until too late, I thought it was first come first serve so I didn't want to risk not getting one cap by trying to get two, now that it seems possible, I sent you a PM with my order number and I was wondering if I could add an extra cap to it. Talk to you in the morning!

Paid and received the email confirmation!  ;D

BTW, I'm not sure if it's okay to ask this here, but I gonna ask anyway.
The traditional Cherokee, are all the different colors molded, or painted?

Yet I ended butthurt again... tried 4-5 times to get one, I am a poor man and can afford only one, but every time got an generic at the end. Anyway doesn't matter, I had a nice Sunday with my family and that was better :)

Messed up my order(s) by being cursory and messaged Bunny/support about it. Sorry about the hassle.

I must say this method is fine and the caps look great. Especially the OG Cherokee.

Have you checked to see if it shows in your order history? I have had this issue before while joining group buys, and it will show up in my orders even though it still shows processing.

It shows in my order history and just says processing, I'm going to guess I have it even if it fails to pay for whatever reason but this is the first time paying for anything on CTRL ALT via stripe I think :X Only thing that bothers me currently is I have no gotten a email to say I ordered anything which really bothers me :X Also I tried contacting them but waiting on a reply :X

Welp, looks like I'm not getting in.  I keep getting "an error has occurred" the multiple times I've tried to pay.

I think everyone gets that, you're ok.

Can not get my payment to go through, when i try to pay the screen just goes white. I have the orders in my history ( I tried twice) but they are listed as unpaid. I guess I am not getting one this time.

Good luck to all of you experiencing the processing thing.

I'm in the "an error has occured" boat. I know for sure my card is Stripe friendly because I have used it for the GMK HyperFuse GB. I think I've made 3-4 attempts, with the same error.

Yes, but someone who ordered after me said they got things worked out with you by PM as part of that batch.  I would assume that I would get notification at the same time as them since I got mine in before them bunny.

As long as I'm in, I'm happy, I was just surprised to not get anything when they did.

Just wanted to say, when I placed my order (about an hour after it opened) everything went smooth. I was able to checkout without issue and my order was marked as paid almost immediately. Thanks for all the work you guys do, CtrlAlt team. It is much appreciated!

believe me, this was the experience 99% of users had

its just the vocal minority that had some issues, most of the time this is down to the card issuer but occasionally it can just be down to traffic or some random anomaly i guess

some card issuers are like this

that isnt because of stripe itself

but because the payment is in dollars but going to an account in pounds, for some reason card issuers dont like this, and itll either cause the order not to go through in rare cases, or in some cases make it so you have to approve the payment through fraud prevention

the fix for this issue, is to charge in pounds rather than dollars, however i felt this would put more people off than the current way, which effects a very small amount of users

the other issue in charging in pounds, is that some card issuers will charge the buyer and international payment fee, which isnt the case if i charge in dollars

I've no issue with stripe at all. I just wondered if that was an issue you've been facing. Obviously, you have everything under control!

Hi there. Is there any chance for me to order those cool keycaps now? I can't buy on your Ctrl-alt website cause it said the items unavailable. Thanks!

The sale is probably over. IIRC there were only a limited number of orders accepted.

Will it be revealed how much of each cap was made, or is that a secret?  :))

we never reveal those numbers

sorry good sir

suppose it's not really my business but as a curious and uninvolved third party, what is the rationale behind this as a matter of policy?

Prepare yourself, another chance may present itself.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
