So many shades of green. The ones at twelve o'clock and ten o'clock positions, which one is toxic and what's the other color?

I just want to own them all. :(

Once I get my keyboard, I'll end up selling the ones I don't like or hopefully trading for the ones I do want, I guess I'll have to wait till Juneish for that as I was hoping to get a beautiful collection.

Then keycap making would be a job, and I wouldn't enjoy doing it. I have a full-time job, a wife and a child. I do this in my spare time (sometimes more and my wife kicks my ass for it at times). I enjoy it because of the people that enjoy my work. If I had to do this 8 hours a day, and just mass produce them, I would just quit doing it.

Sweet hobby. Now I feel like a lazy slob for getting yelled at by my fiancé for playing games too long, all while you're cranking out these bad boys.

Sifo's soul, Board blue, Proto purple, Toxic T1:

I think everyone totally misunderstood me. Have a mold made somewhere so the plastic caps can be mass produced similar to how the metal caps were mass produced. Then MMB can focus on new designs, colors, and limited edition sales he makes himself for those that want the "rare" cap that not just anyone can buy. That way no one feels left out because they can't get into any sales, and others can still feel what they seek by having over the have nots.

BroCaps would lose their exclusivity then.

Why does a novelty cap need exclusivity? Why do you feel the need to feel something different over someone else that doesn't have what you have?

There are plenty of mass produced items that are still awesome and the exclusivity comes from just choosing to buy it at your convenience just like anything else.

I think it'd be cool if people saw Bro caps on progamer keyboards and said "Hey I want one of those where do I get it?" and then go to a web site, buy it, and MMB makes money for his art. What if Coolermaster wanted every one of their keyboards to have an option to have a V2 or Zombro as the escape key and they worked out a deal with MMB so he could make money for his art. What if he could mass produce enough for world wide sales that he could put his kid(s) through college?

Maybe I just don't understand why someone would stop growing their passion when it is so widely loved and has so much potential.

NORWAY!  You may have taken our Bro Bots.  But you'll never take our Herman Melville.  He used to live in Sag Harbor, NY.  I think.  Well, he mentioned Sag Harbor in 4 chapters of Moby ****, I know that.  And I've been to the whaling museum in Sag Harbor, and they have a Melville display.  So the circle is complete.

Why are paintings or other art made in limited (possibly numbered) batches?

Also on the subject of Pro players; At Lone Star Clash, I coulda sworn SC2 player Stephano had a strange Esc cap... or it may have just had some novelty picture on it, making it look like it had some shape to it.

edit; http://i.imgur.com/H9ixdFZ.png <- Here's a bad picture, I feel like they may zoom in more later in the game (the production crew was quite bored and doing ridiculous wipe effects etc.) but im not sure I want to re-watch the long ass swarm host game with Petraeus xD

Upon looking at it again it looks to just have a picture on the keycap.

Hopefully.  I know some of mine have taken 2 weeks and some, usually larger packages, even longer.  I'm still waiting on a Bro from Glissant that was supposed to have shipped last Monday.  So your mileage may vary.

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
