Sorry for a loong time without updating, not because i don't want to update but there is just nothing to update, all there time was just waiting, waiting and waiting. today i saw kbdfans website and there's MAJA coming soon and from now i think it's time to intensify communication with kbdfans. I will keep you guys updated every few days.
This is i what i know so far base on my last communication with kbdfans.
1. Color Option : Last time i communicate with kbdfans it's going to be Black, Grey, Rose gold/ silver.
2. Solder PCB : I have already suggested a soldered PCB with layout option, but i guess Kbdfans is more interested on Hot swap RGB. But I really hope there is still a possibility of future change.
3. Middle foam : Last time they say they didn't make it. i don't know if they didn't make it just for the proto or they don't want to make it foe the final product. when i ask they didn't reply back. I will ask again.
4. FCFS :Maja will be sale as a FCFS, not a GB.. Kbdfans stop doing GB because there is too much uncertainty. For The first batch of Maja we will make 100 case. if there is still demand we will make a second batch with different color and i really hope we can do multiple layout and solder version of PCB.
Thats all the update I have so far. I will contact KBDfans tomorrow and keep you guys updated.

Finally some update! FCFS is kinda stressful because you need to get in time unless the amount is high enough. I really hope there will be R2 later though since I don't think I can join in the R1 for now but still very interested in this keyboard.
Some questions/input:
- Hoping for dark blue/navy color for later
- Middle foam would be amazing
- Any final pricing too?
- Any plan to port into VIA?
- What would be the plate options (and color)?
1. I'm also hoping in the future we could make more case color, but for now I think the standard color is the only option
2. I know, that's why I put it on the design, I hope Kbdfans didn't take them out.

5. for now only brass, but I'm planing to also provide aluminum with many color, we will see.

I also wish we could make more color variety. but for r1 think standard color is the only option. I can only choose 3 color. for solder PCB I also wish we could do that. but Kbdfans wanted hot swap for r1.. but I'm planning to make solder version in the future.

I haven't checked in on this thread for quite a while, but FCFS with a limit of 100 is a big yikes from me after thinking I could just wait for the board to come along as an in-stock item on KBDFans.
What's worse is the way this is worded, "If there is still demand" - Does that mean further rounds after the initial 100 aren't a sure thing?
What I understand from my conversation with Kbdfans is they will make more when it's out of stock.. but will stop making when they think the demand is getting low.
The original post lacks a bit of information. Is there an overview of which layouts are supported? I see it is a hotswap PCB. Is split backspace an option?
for R1 kbdfans wanted to do hotswap so only 1 layout like the render is supported, but personally I really wanted a soldered version of pcb with multiple layout option. I'm planing to make that in the future, I'm willing to spend some of my profit from this project to make that happen.
Could you ask them how much time will be between R1 and R2 if they see there are many people asking for it? Is there a possibility of other plate options?
Lets say there will be a solderable pcb for R2, could you make it available for purchase separately for people who do get into R1?

same as other kbdfans product, around 2-3 month .for plate option I will suggest them to make aluminum version.
