Title: Which should i get ? 104u or hipro?
Post by: timisfool on Mon, 02 February 2015, 06:02:51
Hello everyone.
I was thinking about getting a "realforce" keyboard, however i can't really decide which to get.
Realforce 104u or 104UG-Hipro

I've typed both of them and they are both "Amazing" . I just can't make up my mind. :-X

So does anyone who had typed both of these keyboard and can give me some advice and personal opinion?

I have both regular and Hipro. I type slower on Hipro but it is more fun.

I am not a good typist so the regular one is better. I hit the edges of the keycaps sometimes and heard that this is common and might bother some people. I don't think there are replacement keycaps for Hipro (I could not find them) so that's a disadvantage.

I actually bought HiPro first before I bought my regular one.

HiPro feels better but ultimately the keycap angle is too steep and I keep hitting edges and resulting typing slower and it's kind of annoying.

So I end up getting a 104U variable and mod it to 45 uniform.

HiPro is kind of love and hate, while the regular one is more safe.

seems like you're not much of a touch typist then ._.
