[IC] GMK HHKB layout GMK Mod Pack

Hello all. I know its been a while since I touched this thread. But with the emergence of the CtrlAlt topre to mx sliders I have had renewed interest in this project.

So with the soon to come Topre-to-MX sliders by the CtrlAlt team, I have had renewed interest in doing this small mod pack group buy with GMK. Ideally it would be designed to work with other GMK sets to match it so you could just replace the mods. The kit should only be around <20ish keys to keep it as affordable as possible.

This set I have in mind would be for HHKB ONLY. As this would be my first time doing any of this I want to keep it simple. Colors I have in mind are Green, Pink, and Orange. However I am open to suggestions. Right now I just want to check interest on the idea of a small mod pack specifically for HHKBs as well as nailing down the keys and legends.

Here are the keys I am considering:

Left Side Keys:
1x 1u Esc row - Row 1
1x 1.5u Tab - Row 2
1x 1.75u Control (full touch)- Row 3
1x 2.25u Shift - Row 4
1x 1u Alt - Row 4

Right Side Keys:
1x 1.5u Backspace - Row 2
1x 2.25u Enter - Row 3
1x 1.75u Shift - Row 4
1x Fn - Row 4
1x 1u Alt Gr - Row 4

Keys I need help with:
2x 1.5u "Command/Option"- Row 4
    Issue: I am not sure what people would like as the legend for these.

1x 1u "\|" - Row 1
    Issue: A lot of sets don't come with this key so I was thinking about choose 4 or 5 set that are very popular like Dolch and create this key so that people can use them with their original sets. I would need help choosing those 4 or 5 sets though.

I love the idea of a small mod pack for HHKB. Small and cheap, awesome.


I'm curious though: I love the keys on my stock HHKB pro 2. Not sure I'd want to swap em even for GMKs. Am I alone?


For a Gon HHKB or Viper etc, this would be sweet.

Sorry guys.. there just wasnt enough interest. But don't worry. After GhostJuggernaut and I run the RGBK group buy, we got plans for another set already and we will definitely have HHKB support
