2021 was a great year for Mechlovin’, as we continued to tackle “revival projects” with success. After 2 very challenging projects (Rouge and Olly) that took us lots of resources and energy, we’d like to come back with something rather straightforward, but we’re sure will be very helpful to a certain group within the community: a KMAC TKL compatible PCB.

COMPATIBILITY

We’ve been using a prototype on our KMAC2 for a while now, and based on our own research and valuable community input, it should also work with the KMAC 1 and 1.2.

• PCB is programmable with QMK and VIA (based on Infinity87 Rev. 2)

• PCB thickness: 1.6mm

• Powered by Atmega32u4 MCU

• Supported layouts

• No underglow RGB

• Mini-USB

• Cherry MX only

• South-facing Spacebar stab

• ESD protection

• PCB color: Red

• Surface finish: Immersion gold

LEAD TIME AND SHIPPING

The expected production and QC time is 6 weeks. We’ve done 2 working prototypes so far so production can start right after CNY break, which means we’re looking to start shipping around Late March 2022.
