I probably wanna spend like £100 ish, so like $150. I'm rocking some Vans Attwoods at the moment, but I wanna get another decent set that will last me a while, all the driving in these is ****ing ruining the heels.

Although I guess they don't have to be high tops, I just feel they go with the skinny-ish jeans I always seem to wear...

Runners definitely will work with some skinny jeans. Air Max 90s, gel lyte asics, flyknit, etc all look pretty solid

If you're going to go with runners, definitely look into asics or anything with that popcorn looking foam on adidas boost. Like Pure Boost or Rocket Boost. Not like the Yeezy boosts. Insanely comfortable.

I've had a pair of Air Max 90s and I miss them terribly. They were only comfortable for me with the big arch insert. Otherwise they weren't comfortable at all.

The only thing that puts me off getting something like those, is that the Vans are like, semi formal so I can get away with wearing them on a night out, and not have to worry about getting turned away. I guess I could keep hold of them for those situations, but I will keep looking at the runners.

I HAVE to wear inserts. I have really flat feet and I have to wear inserts even with shoes that have "arch support"

I'm soooooo thankful I got that pair of inverse infrared 90s from reaper. But it took me like 6 months to break em in and I still want inserts for em. I still rock em though. But after trying on Diadora N9000s, Adidas Rocketboosts/Ultraboosts, and asics Gel Lyte 3s/5s....I don't see why I should suffer.

Brooks imo are the best for your feet. I worked at a shoe store for three years during high school and I got a few free pairs. They don't look that good at all but nothing can feel better, especially with a fresh insert it feels like bliss. I am usually wear Vans or Lakai's which is the exact opposite of comfort haha.

I've been wanting to try them really bad. Can't find any of their Heritage stuff. The actual runners, like the shoes they advertise to run marathons and what not, are too hardcore for me.

My absolute favorite are the Brooke's Glycerin, it's more of a neutral shoe so it isn't for everyone but it's able to be a little cushier rather stiff for the high arch support. I haven't worked there for months since I'm in college now so I don't know if there are any new ones. Since this is the thread about what makes you happy I did receive a message from the manager there asking me to come back for the holidays. Sounds like more money for keyboards :p

Oh damn. There are some lucky recipients this year, and some seriously generous Santas! I know of at least one other person getting free artisans.

The people of Geekhack make me happy.

I was having trouble with my PC after wanting to upgrade to Windows 10. My CD key was detected as being fake, and I was basically stuck on Windows seven. All of a sudden, dgneo steps in and just straight up GIVES me a windows key, basically saving me £100. My Windows upgrade went well, and I am now on ten :D

Then, I saw Spamray had posted a set of titanium Beast switch tools for sale. I have always wanted a set, as I am very soon going to get into custom boards, and I need to take some switch tops off. While I was umming and aaing over if I should go further into my overdraft, they were gone. I posted in the thread, but it was too late.

Then I get a message asking me for my postal address. It was ImpendingxDoom who said he was buying the switch tools, but wanted Spamray to send them straight to me! I received the tools on Monday, and I am so happy :3 I think I've got the technique down already

Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

But front wheel drive cars are good in snow... Lol the tires is what makes a huge difference. A RWD car with snow tires will be better than a FWD with summer tires.

I wish I had snow myself here in PA but sadly I'm getting nothing but rain. :(

I am pretty happy today though since I am finally getting a Penumbra set. It was the first custom set that I ever saw and in fact is what brought me into this hobby, after 8 months of trying I finally got my hands on a set.

Snow!  Fluffy, white, covering the whole Earth snow!  How I missed you so!  Winter wasn't the same without you...and all the retards that try to drive in you with front wheel drive cars on summer tires...lol.

But front wheel drive cars are good in snow... Lol the tires is what makes a huge difference. A RWD car with snow tires will be better than a FWD with summer tires.

I wish I had snow myself here in PA but sadly I'm getting nothing but rain. :(
Oh, I know it.  But it was simply AMAZING to see this many people doing a one-wheeled burnout in the middle of an intersection trying to get around.  I had to take so many detours from my normal route that my wife actually called twice to find out what happened to me.  Even coming back we passed at least a half a dozen cars either stuck in the middle of an intersection, or turning in or out of one that backed up traffic.  Our own street had a backup that we only saw the likes of last 4th of July when 100k people from the suburbs were on our size of town.
