Best adhesive to join PBT
« on: Sun, 03 September 2017, 09:33:22 »
I am looking for a reliable way to bond PBT to PBT. A heavy bodied product with gap filling properties is best because of slightly irregular surfaces (<1/32").

My first go-to would be an epoxy or urethane based product but I'd like to hear of any successes or failures, specifically with PBT.

Loctite devours PBT.
Don't ask me how I know that.
My opensource projects: GH80-3000, TOAD, XMMX. Classified: stuff

It looks like somebody answered the question years before I asked it.

Thanks for the heads up on the Loctite, TalkingTree. I have had similar experiences. The best laid schemes...
