Can we have a Forum Games section?
« on: Tue, 09 February 2016, 16:30:56 »
Way back in the day when I played City of Heroes/Villains they had a forum games section I used to frequent.

I'd rather have an actual spot for it instead of maybe an off-topic thread.

Thoughts?

Other Geeky Stuff.
Not nearly enough discussion about games to be worth that effort.

Could include gaming specific hardware such as higher end mouse pads, game pads, gaming controllers, and *gasp* console gaming.

Somehow I imagine this is what bee looks like when she sees a thread she disapproves of.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

When you said "Forum Games" I thought you meant the little games that are carried out in the forums. Like "solve the riddle" or "write a story by only posting three words at a time." Stuff like that.

Block me if you're that butthurt.

We had arcade games, then we got hacked and started using this forum software and they were gone.

the last thing we need is more subforums.

No? You're the one that likes to take shots at me tho. Not the first time you've mentioned you have a problem with my posting.

I just find it funny that a guy that is infamous for s***posting wants the forum to "less clutter." As for taking shots last thing I can recall was maybe regarding the MiTo comment?

Anyways, this was just a question about Forum Games and not about Console or PC gaming. FLFisherman had the right idea of what I'm talking about. Think of things like rate the avatar above you, write the next 3 words, etc.

PS: demik maybe we can hug it out:

We have threads like that, in Off-Topic.
