Why aren't there RGBY options for the Arrow keys?

The d-pad is black, mang.

Shouldn't the alphas be darker in the renders to look more comparable to the snes

GMK Render colors are brighter/blown out compared to the finished product in my experience.

Just wanted to say I'm so excited to see the 60% idea being run and thanks for the credit  :D Obviously, I will have to buy my first 60% now :thumb: Time to start practicing that space-fn layout again.

Space FN rocks, I cannot use dedicated arrows that are far away from the bottom row, anymore.

For years I've wanted to use ESDF as the default arrows. I recently got my first custom board and had an Fn installed to the right of right Shift. I'm in heaven.

Kinda bummed it will resemble more of a super famicom than a snes controller but I have a feeling once I get it I'll love the colors.

So because this is GMK we won't see this outside of a GB, right?

To your second question: Aside from aftermarket sales, probably not.

Also, those in North America were the only ones who got an SNES with the purple and lavender color scheme.

This is how it looked in PAL regions. So, this key cap set is kind of a blend of all territories, haha. I think if the arrow keys were given the lavender and purple colorscheme, it'd kind of put too much weight on that color since the F-row or number stripe would also be the same color. This gives it more variety.

Oh man I originally thought that everyone but Asia got the lavender.
Now that I think about it you're probably right about it depending on the lavender/purple too much, that's why they pay you the big bucks.

So I'm right in thinking that it's WASZ so that it resembles a D-pad? Would you happen to know if WASZ has been used before?

Oh, I'm rolling in the dough, hahaha.  :blank:

Don't worry, I thought the same thing until that retro Wii Classic Controller caught my eye a few years back.

As far as WASZ, I don't think so! The WASZ and [ ; ' / sets are definitely intended to replicate the look of the controller, so yep! WASZ is a D-pad while the other set is for the face buttons.

Another cool touch would be to add black V and M keys to the set so it can mimic the start and select buttons too, but I don't think we'll be seeing that.

Also, I'm sure you're prepping yourself, but, just in case, be prepared for any snide remarks in the drop about "mixed colors" or "transparent caps" or anything else.
I for one love TA and have no issues with it, and I'm just as ecstatic about this drop. But I'm sure there'll be others, as evidenced from other drops, who will post negatively just for the sake of it.

I know this is like alpha stages, but having different kits for wasd / arrow colors would be nice

It would fit the theme better seeing as it's designed with the idea of a gaming console in mind.

This may be true for stock colors, but SNES will be using custom-matched colors which means a much higher MOQ. I believe Triumph Adler, which had custom colors, had an MOQ of 500 or 750.

I'm really excited. I only use gmk profile keys so having this moq drop is a big deal to me.

Yeah I imagine that the custom colours would still have a pretty steep MOQ but 150 for regular colors is insane

That was with a lot of support from users that had bad experiences with the set (their first GMK set, for many), so I don't think we can count on all of those people coming back for another.  :-/

Not saying it won't happen, just another thing to consider.
