So question for people in the states. Will it be better to try and get one from IllumKB than say Cannonkeys? I've joined a couple of raffle GBs and I have never gotten a respond or gotten the chance to buy one.

This is the only thing that didn't make sense with the Iron180 and now 165 R2. Canada's 1/10 the population of the US and getting a big allotment of boards for the ratios of people. I would totally understand if they were a Canadian vendor (I'm ex Edmonton-ian myself) and wanted to do something like this as a thanks for their own but they're a US company.

I realize this post isn't going to make a difference with this GB as the numbers are announced just typing this out for the future.

Not intended as a criticism on S+R, I truly think they are among the nicest/non-pretentious, most transparent vendors we have. And 165 R1 quality is just stunning.

Would love to get in on this - as an Aussie would love it if you one day would add an Australian vendor for Australian and New Zealand. DailyClack or SwitchKeys would be great. Til then we'll jump into the iLUMKB GB who are also an amazing vendor.

I'm all for a raffle system, but I think the frustration lies with having no transparency into the sheer amount of people in the lobby and how many boards are actually left.

Last two times I waited in the lobby (Adelie, and Sat75 v2) we were greeted with some text (and like the salty-ish comment) and booted out10-15 min later.

It is a better system but the UX is bad.

To join the raffle you need to join the `Koi Raffle System` Discord. The following link should be the invite, otherwise google for it:

After joining the discord you need to verify yourself in the registration channel (should be the only channel you can see) to verify just press the thumbsup reaction on the bot-post in that channel like over 9k others have. After doing so you will get the verified role (your name is blue and you can access the verified channel).

Next you head to the website (koi-raffle.com) and log in with your discord account.
If you followed the steps above and are verified on the server it should work and your discord username, hash and email will be displayed at the top of the website.
To change the email you will have to change your discord email and relog into the website.

Once the raffle starts it will be displayed on the koi-raffle website and allow you to join. The raffle will not be visible to you if you are not verified on the server!
If you win an invoice will be sent to the displayed email.

After I click LOG IN on koi raffle site I am redirected to discord, I authorize and it's redirecting me back to koi raffle site but I don't see anything, just "Hi!". Is it supposed to work like that? (I am verified on discord).

If the log in button takes you to the discord and does not log you in on the website you are probably not verified.

I like all three colors, but I am concerned that there will be not enough color matched keycaps for teal and even though I am a huge fan of red not sure if I want red keyboard on my desk (especially when top is red, if bottom would be red, than I would grab it first of course), so gray is kinda getting tempting more and more
