Awwww it's ok I guess we're still 2 months away let me know later if things changes I guess.

But yeah unless we ditch the Matias plan entirely otherwise I don't think we can have a meet up on the weekend (unless we meet twice lol)    I'd prefer to go though, but I guess we can still discuss about that.

But keep in mind that whoever has work in the day time can always join us for dinner afterwards.

I guess both are probably not "ideal" dates but I kinda want to give the Matias rep a reply before Monday.  So out of the two dates which would you guys prefer?

Yeah that's true, sighhhh making decision is hard lol.  Mmmmm at least we're still 2 months away, I guess for now I will let Matias rep know we prefer Thursday also give them a heads up on the weekday attendance issue.  So if anything does come up it won't come as a surprise.

So far it seems like there are 3 people that's not too sure if they can make it or not, and 2 unconfirmed.  I'll PM them and see what they say.

I'd like to come to this. I'm from up near Owen Sound and as a farmer, Feb is still part of the yearly "break" in work we call Winter.

If I can make it, I'll bring a selection of Model Ms, the barn-find '86 1390120 which I've bolt-modded, a stock Unicomp, and a hybrid Unicomp/'87 1390120 that I've started putting together. If I can make it to that barn again and rescue some of those Model Fs I saw hiding in the piles of old hardware I'll bring them with me too.

Haata, if you're a student, you can get a good discount on Greyhound tickets. When I lived in KW and worked in Toronto I took the greyhound everyday and I used my old college ID to get the discount. It's something like $25 for a round-trip with like a 6-month time limit before the tickets expire. It's the same price for a general adult daypass, but you have to use that the same day you buy it. If you take a look at the schedule online, I suggest taking a bus with a short trip-time, the longer trip-times mean the bus is going through Guelph. All you'd need is a suitcase to carry the keyboards.

I'm in UW and I've found GO Bus to be much more convenient and cheaper than Greyhound. Pretty much once you have a presto card and set it to have a student discount, each way is about $11 for $22 round trip and there are more buses. Sorry but I'm getting back via Bus as well so I can't help with the keyboard part.

Ok I've got the e-mail back from Matias rep.  I've updated the schedule to the first page.  Basically it's as follows:

12:30 - 01:00  Pizza lunch at Matias
01:00 - 03:00  Board room presentation
03:00 - 04:30  Walking tour

And since the location is in Mississauga so most likely we'll have to meet somewhere inside Toronto first then carpool over.  If anyone has access to a car please let me know so I can see how many car we have.  I'll be driving 1 car to the tour and I can take 3.

Another thing to note is that if everyone's willing to pitch in $10 then I can probably book a hotel with meeting room of some sort for us to display the keyboards.  Let me know if you guys are ok with that.

Looking at your list, how many boards did you steal fron the Uni of Waterloo?

Such a big list! Not too interested in Cherry switches, but different/rare types of alps would be nice. 55g and 30g topre would be great. Do you have anything with space invaders switches? Would be interested in checking those out. Other than that, whatever you think is worth a try, you should bring!
