No offense meant toward you. I wasn't suggesting you were trying to disadvantage NA. And I don't blame Cannon Keys, either. If they're only comfortable doing 100 units that's absolutely their call.
Besides, we come out way ahead in most group buys so the shoe being on the other foot for this one isn't the end of the world.

What is the purpose of making unlimited units available in the EU, but capping at 100 units outside of the EU? Seems like an odd stipulation since I 'could' have a trusted coworker in the EU buy one and ship it to me (funds xfer + VAT + extra shipping being the downside of course).
This is really awesome! I'm looking forward to this as shipping and other fees killed my opportunity with the Pearl keyboard. This will be my first every sub 60% board! Is there any possibility to get brass instead of stainless steel on the blue colorway? I'm really diggin' the blue! I'm scandinavian, so I assume the unlimited GB is also valid for me as mykeyboard is my primary vendor. And is it really true it lasts a whole week in the EU? If so that is very impressive! :eek:

On CannonKeys, I specifically added Blue to my cart, but my receipts shows Black??? Not happy about this.Exactly. I tried 3 times total to change it and eventually it just went OOS.

I was able to pick up a Navy version with FR4 + CF plates. Trouble is - can anyone recommend a keycap set available now with support? Just ordered a blue through Mykeyboard, with a CF plate and extra PCB. I planned on ordering a U80-A Seq 2 in the ongoing GB, but with extra PCB, shipping and the whopping 25% VAT I would need to pay at importing (plus fees), this was both the economical and emotional choice, so I just went for it. It’s always great to support the “small business”, (although of course RAMA is no international conglomerate) and I just love the Penguin-theme and it just feels great to get to dip my toes into sub 60%. :) Really looking forward to this, and congrats on a truly awesome design, Abec!
I sure wish smaller projects would take note when it comes to having European vendors, the VAT (although I am happy to pay it, keeps society running, after all) is truly prohibitive for even mid-range projects.

I'm new to the whole keyboard scene, so I am wondering, why would one order an extra plate if one is already included?

It appears that illumkb and Daily Clack are sold out.
Not able to find the length of the bottom of the keyboard at all.
The MarbleK wrist rest for the GMK Civilization keycap set seems to go perfect with this build keyboard that I bought but the lowest % wrist rest they offer for this is 60%
Wondering if 60% wrist rest would work for this Adelie or if the measurements would still be off by quite a bit.

Will the plate files be shared?
I bought both the FR4 and CF plates, but I'd love to get some POM and PC plates cut to test them out.

I am a total noob in regards to this. I don't see the Adélie in the Via compatibility list, and it's not being recognized by the software (based on what I read). Can someone point me to some type of support for getting the Adélie to work in Via?

Not sure what other people experience with VIA at the moment, I've build mine and VIA recognised as Engima Infinitum 87. Seems like to have the correct layout I'll have to compile QMK code and reflash with a new hex.
VIA doesn't want to play ball with info.json from GitHub repo out of the box as well and side loading Definition with this json is throwing errors
I'm also new to 40%, github and coding for QMK in general

I was just playing with this tonight and experiencing exactly what you're talking about. I will resolve this ASAP and post back here with it. Upas from cannon keys has been handling the qmk for this as I am in a similar boat to you 😅

At this time, I am not aware. I can't imagine it would break it with VIA. Let me know please!
Not too much of a problem, I had to edit knob controls and OLED printouts for my Launchpad. This should be a piece of cake. All I'm concerned about is, if I make changes to the keymap and compile a hex based on it, will I still be able to otherwise use VIA to program the board with the product? If you don't know, I can experiment and report back.
