Title: Hello Forum
Post by: rlx on Sun, 20 December 2020, 12:59:34
Hello Everyone,

I'm a Linux Engineer who spends much of his day working in the command-line or hacking together scripts and automation tools. I've been needing a to replace my current keyboard, and decided to purchase, what I now know is a popular entry level aluminum TKL. It feels good, sounds ok, but the RGB is almost seizure inducing  and cannot be turned off or customize the way I would like.

I joined "geekhack" to talk with others, that might be able to help, find a more professional keyboard, and learn more about the hobby-- which is becoming rather addictive. ;-)

Welcome doomed mortal.

I would recommend Filco, Ducky, Leopold and iKBC (the MF is made of cnc aluminium  :D ) as good prebuilt boards.

Thanks for the recommendations. I'm currently using the DROP CTRL with some added foam.
