Why have none of the recent GBs included extra keys with side printing to properly replicate the side printing on a poker 2?

Mostly because not everyone has a Poker, or a Poker 2.

As an alternative, I have tried to get Shadovved to create metallic stickers, but he hasn't showed much interest, plus they are rather small. Below is a photo of the stickers that came with the Duck Poker case as an example:

I just noticed something.

In Upgrade Kit 02, don't the escape keys needs to be in row profile 2?

If the kit needs to be similar to a hhkb layout, I would think it can not be in row profile 1.

It was my bad not including one Esc key in Row 2 for mini layout at the first place. I'm sorry.

I didn't order kit 02, but I don't think it's a good idea. If you remove 1 arrow key you basically make the 3 other arrow keys useless, because they would never be used seperately.

People ordered what you showed them in the mockups. You shouldn't change things after the GB was closed or others might get upset who don't need that ESC key.

Maybe you should make a little poll for the people who ordered this specific kit?

It makes more sense to replace the row 4 arrow key so your rows look uniform on mx mini and 1800 board layouts than for some rare realforce layout. Maybe just add the escape so that set has one more key, then everyone is happy because they get more keys and everyone is a little pissed paying a bit more

Your intention is to change some keys in the kit right? You should let people who ordered upgrade kit 02 vote, instead of everyone. That would just screw up the polling result. I did not order upgrade kit 02, yet I receive the polling email.

Secondly, I did not even know that there was 2 UP keys. Maybe you can circle the one that you want to replace?

Thirdly, just my opinion, but why are you replacing the UP key in row 3? Shouldn't you replace the Row 4 UP instead?

Does anyone know what row is the SP PANIC key in?

There are two esc keys of the same profile in set upgrade kit 02. Can't we change one of them to the other profile if we don't change the arrow key as a worse case situation if people don't want to lose the arrow key?

My guess is that it's easier to e-mail everyone and then filter only those that ordered the kit. Just a guess though.

People, look at the keycaps you have on your keyboard right now. All 4 arrow keys are the same profile. The Row 3 arrow key is for certain cherry boards that use the arrow keys in a cross pattern, with a key in the middle.

No one loses anything by dropping the Row 3 arrow, and some people who use mini layouts will gain a correct profile ESC key.

Wrong....
If you look at the row layout for these keys in the op the zxc row is row 3 so for a maching up arrow it would need to be row 3 too...

the row 4 up arrow is the unusual one... its for keyboards like these...

and i say change the up arrow for the esc key...as long as its the row 4 one...

SP will sell you one doubleshot for something crazy like $50-100. You might as well order 25-50 for the same price though.

I still stand by just make everyone pay $2 more for the extra key in that set. I am part of that set and who cares I'll pay $2 more

Because NOW the original design has changed from what was offered before, will the OP offer refunds for those that do NOT like the new design being offered?

I remembered before when Jil ran the 1st Valentine Group Buy and everything was perfect no deviation from the original design, but he included extra's later on.

But now he is changing something to suit a minority here, and if that's how it's going to be then he needs to offer an escape card for those not interested in the latest design change. If he offered this late change earlier on, then I would of probably opted out of this.

Please clarify jil_jil32, what are you going to do next with this Group Buy?
