77 Inch is the sweet spot for 10 feet rooms, with a good walking space standing desk. 85 inch is pushing it, 98 inch is you lean against the wall full time.
8K can't come soon enuff.

but do we really need 8K?
I feel ike 4k is enough.

8K is quite interesting, because many old games can be played at that Res, and you get that ontop of great text clarity.
The issue right now is cable bandwidth is lacking to do Legit 8K.
We need a 272 Gbit cable for 8K, 10bit 240hz. Unless we're willing to settle for DSC which is yucky. So we'd probably need fibr, or a cable with alot more pins.

There's no good reason why we don't have 4K 560hz. Yea, it requires DSC, but that's acceptable for the time being.

Minor, but relevant,
at 77 inches and above, Even at 17 nits, slides can be blindingly bright at night.
