Apologize in advance if this is a dumb question.

Obviously most GBs have enough to cover a 60-65% layout. Some also include numpads. But when I see ortho/40% add-ons, most seem to have two 1u space bars/blanks, two 1.75u space bars, but only one 2.0u space bar. I'm puzzled because all the split keyboards I've come across - a popular category, no? - all have two 2u spacebars as a layout option. Are there specific layouts/keyboards that have two 1.75s such that those are the de facto options in a GB, but two 2us aren't? Are their guidelines somewhere that say "for the most participation, you should consider this many keys of this length in an ortho kit?"

Some examples:
GMK Striker had two 1.75s in its 40s kit, but one 2u.
GMK WoB Extension kit too.
GMK 9009 too in its obscure kit.

To be clear, I'm not complaining, I just genuinely curious.

Thanks!

For DIYing, whenever I search, the GK60, 61 and 64 kits comes out right away. Maybe DZ kits are also popular as well.
